Kamogawa - Carta

Good Japanese restaurant but nothing super special. In my opinion there is a veteran waitress that is not friendly at all! She made me in a cold mood :-(

Really good authentic traditional Japanese cuisine that's hard to fault but prices are very high and the ambience and service are not up to the standard. Nice for a change but expensive.

Lovely authentic Japanese food, comfortable setting and very friendly service. I must say, the sushi I had was probably the best I had in Nice so far. The only negative is the price. Whilst the quality of the food is great, I am not sure that the price is justified. Ver carta

Very good sushi for price and very decently and fairly priced compared to all the sushi in the states. I wasn't expecting great quality for such a low price but it wasGreat quality for price.my husbands medium grilled duck was amazing (per his words). If we came back to nice we would definitely be back.

I love this place. I have visited here many times. I really like the set menus, especially the Salmon menu. It many seem expensive, but the amount of food and side dishes you get are worth it. If you order a la carte, it would come out to be much more. The quality of the sushi is the best I've seen in the Cote d'Azur.

I have been going to this restaurant for 10 years on and off, The last three time have been disappointing, the sushi and chefs are wonderful but the place needs a clean and paint, and the male manager/ waiter is in need of better social skills , has been quite rude to my friends.I will be going to Sushiya in Nice from now!!!! We visited Kamogawa for a lunch, and, as usual, I enjoyed tasty Ramen so much. Our friend, who visited Kamogawa for the first time with us together, enjoyed Obento containing various Japanese foods in one lunch box only for 28Euro. Obento is highly recommended to those, who do not know Japanese food too well and would like to try virtually everything Kamogawa offers. There are many Japanese restaurants overseas, but Kamogawa is at least one of the best.

Really good authentic tasting Japanese cuisine. The amuse Bouche to start was lovely and the banana fritter desert divine. The service was too quick and the Asian serving staff cold and unfriendly not at all like Japan where the service is usually exceptional. The French Nice customer service Attitude has infected them? It was a nice change from french food but overall too expensive and the service and overall ambience not up to the standard the high prices command.

Coming from Asia, we didn't expect much from Japanese restaurants in France as we know how difficult it is to find the right ingredients but this place was pretty legit. The only thing that didn't impress me was the ramen as it tasted more like Chinese noodles instead of real Japanese ramen but their bento set with sashimi and tempura was pretty good. I loved the Mikasa dessert(red bean pancake) very much, pretty sure this comes directly from Japan. Service was really nice and the whole ambience felt very Japanese and cosy. Enjoyed myself thoroughly. Ver carta
