"This is a tiny sushi bar in an area that food wise is mostly concerned with beer, shots, fat and carbs. Kampai is run by Japanese who know what a sushi bar should feel and taste like. You feel welcome and at home immediately (if there is free space no reservations taken). There is a limited menu, a cold beer, a very short wait, and then ... the sushi, decorated with a few nice touches ... the sushi rice is just perfect in taste, consistency and temperature; that plain salmon nigiri will simply melt in your mouth. Close your eyes, it's so good. What a find, what an oasis in this unlikely neighborhood! It's not a cheap eat, but wow this will enhance your mood by 100° and puts you back to hit the next club. Will be back."

If you are looking for an Authentic Sushi Shop, find it here. The Japanese owner is very nice. The shop is very small, typical Japanese. Sushi is freshly prepared. He also always processes the fish he gets the day. The sushi itself tastes heavenly. My best sushi. Ver carta

Love this place! The place is pretty small so make your reservation in advance, so worth it! All the food is so fresh and tasty. The customer service is excellent! The owner is awesome! He comes personally to make sure you are having a wonderful experience! This is a must!

Good tiny sushi place! In the true Japanese style, there only few seats available inside (probably possible to have max 10pers) so it's better to call and make a reservation before you go. Yet, it's not the kind of place where you stay for hours, meaning there's a lot coming in and out and might be able to get a seat if you ok waiting 15-20min. Talking about the food as such, we tried several different maki and California and they were all pretty tasty and fresh. One thing though: they put mayonnaise in the California ...which I really don't like! That's probably why I only give 3 , as well as because of prices which are a little bit too expensive for the overall experience.
