Kanaan - Carta

Anyone in this area of Berlin who like Hummus, has to go. Even if you're not that close, it's worth the journey.

The food here hands down amazing. Hummus and salads were delicious, so were the bread and the falafel. This type of restaurant you won't come across every day. Recommended for Middle Eastern cuisine in Berlin.

Best Hummus in the area maybe, but one of the worst customer services in Berlin ever! Or better said customers, can even be a group & spend a lot of money but still be treated badly. Weiters are moody & not realy keen to work;( Ver carta

Ich habe dieses Restaurant mit meiner Schwester aufgrund der Bewertungen besucht. Äußerlich war es etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber unsere Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Der Service war klasse und das Essen auch. Es ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

De falafel en humus waren in orde maar niet uitmuntend, en te weinig voor de prijs die ervoor gerekend werd. Het brood dat erbij geserveerd werd, was een afknapper. Het leek zo uit de supermarkt te komen (uitgedroogd en kruimelig pitabroodje). Er worden geen alcoholische drankjes geserveerd, die kun je kopen bij het café aan de overzijde. Toilet erg vies. Wel leuke lokatie.

The hummus is amazing and there is a good choice to combine it.The place is rather small inside but the little beach outside is nice (even if it could be organized better - when I went it rained and there were just two umbrellas that could repair)We waited a bit long but it was worth it.The fries are good but too few for the price.FYI: You can't pay with card and they don't serve alcohol Ver carta

At first, we were really excited to go but it turned out to be a frustrating experience. The menu is not so clear. From the description, it sounded really delightful, spicy and rich but actually what they offered was small quantities of tasteless dishes, especially the hummus (insipid). The bread that comes with it is was barely cooked and not quiet interesting. On top of it, especially for Berlin and considering the service, it's definitely overpriced.

Netter kleiner Laden mit sehr leckeren israelisch/palästinensisch/arabischen Gerichten. Vor allem die Humus Variationen sind sehr lecker. Ist insgesamt eher schlicht wie in einem Imbiss aber mit großem Außenbereich. Die Bedienung spricht wenig Deutsch, vorrangige Kommunikation erfolgt auf Englisch. Man bestellt bekommt einen Beeper und wenn das Essen fertig ist vibriert der Beeper und man holt das Essen am Tresen. Vor allem wenn es wärmer ist und man draußen sitzen kann ein schönes Lokal.

Though I did not sit down in the restaurant and came there for T.A, the restaurant is perfect for sunny days as the large yard has sand and plastic furniture, a bit of the Tel-Aviv beach atmosphere in the middle of Berlin. We were extremely happy with the food and the portions that were very generous. Hummus is delicious, made with love and experience. The salads are a must, seasoning is authentic and fresh. These guys know what they are doing, I hope the comments below on the service will not stain the place. I experienced only good service there, with a big smile. Ver carta
