"We had lunch here on a Tuesday. We ate at the smaller cafe just around the corner from the larger brasserie on the corner of Grand Rue. There’s covered street-side tables outside and also seating inside. We sat inside to avoid any smokers. Service was fast and friendly. We spoke French with our server. Our flammkuchens were very good, the riesling was very good, and prices were very good. We found nothing to complain about except the flammkuchen came uncut. OK, we would make a change in the music being played. Whatever it was, it seemed to be aimed at entertaining the young staff and not the customers. Despite these small shortcomings, we can recommend eating here and would definitely come back. It’s a good choice."

We came upon this place during a morning walk and we also wanted breakfast. The cappuccinos were awesome and the crepes were very savory and we had large servings!

After a fresh getaway to walk in the streets of the city to discover and enjoy the scenery and illuminations, we enjoyed this Christmas sauerkraut while continuing our visit... Not to be missed

While passing through Kaysersberg, we wanted to find a place on the terrace to have a drink and pancakes. The terrace is welcoming and full of greenery. The staff is friendly and helpful. The prices are correct. We had a good time in peace! Ver carta

We ordered a burger and a pure vegetarian salat, a beer and an apple juice. In total on the menu should be no more than 35 Euro, however, got charged 43 Euro due to different taxes on top. I don’t understand since when the price on the menu in France doesn’t include tax. Totally being cheated!!! And the food, just so so...

The food and beverages were great, but our server really made the night memorable. She was really positive, sweet, and excited to help us. After dinner we asked if there was a place to purchase beer and wine to take back to the hotel. She escorted us inside and helped us find and and purched just what we were looking for. A great night.

We returned by chance, given the number of addresses in this commune. The kitchen is good, (the dishes we chose are very good. service and friendly welcome. Small flat, but this is the case in all these very beautiful Communes, it is the price, I find a little expensive when we compare what we ate elsewhere (ex: Colmar, Strasbourg etc... Ver carta

We came back by chance and it was very good. The gratin of pasta at the Munster is rich and very good. The sauerkraut is very good accompanied by 4 meats. We were very well advised for wine. A very good time. Correct price for a high period. The reception may seem cold but you have to do with grinding customers too. These people work and they deserve respect.

"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg. The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved. We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."
