Kempley's Catch - Carta

Lovely fish and chips. Ate in at take-out price. There isn't a loo, but there are public loos and ones in nearby establishments.

Great value for money, hot and tasty! Would definitely recommend to others. Visited from out the area and we’re not disappointed.

Live locally, but hadn't been to Kempleys for many years. Really glad i returned. Batter is light and not at all greasy, and the large cod was perfectly cooked. Chips were crispy but fluffy inside. Overall this is really good fish and chips.

Went to this Chippy based on good reviews given. They were right. The chippy itself is small in a Okehampton back street with a small seating area. It was very busy on arrival, but we can understand why. The Fish Chips Scampi Chips bought were fresh cooked well cooked tasted superb. Can thoroughly recommend.

I can only give my opinion on the chips from this establishment as they are all I sampled. The title sums it up, today we bought some take away chips and they were awful. The large portion was only the size of standard elsewhere and cost £3.20!!! They were very greasy, pale and flabby..the picture I have attached tells it all. Will never go there again. Ver carta

Just popped in here for a quick cod and chips after a long day travelling. Good location in centre of Okehampton. They have a small, well kept dining area after you place your order in the takeaway the very friendly staff bring it round. Tasty and fresh, a good cup of tea too! Only in Okehampton for one night but would definitely come back if I was staying for longer.

Well, what lovely friendly people run this place. Food was hot and freshly cooked. Perfect portions, chips were a good mix of soft and crispy and fish was nice and meaty' with a good batter. Good choice to the menu too, Son enjoyed his cheeseburger, daughter her halloumi fries and brother some sweet fritters. The place itself was clean and smart and catered for kids portions too. Excellent.

We arent big fish n chips eaters, maybe a couple of times each month .... and we were even less so after trying the fish and chip shops here in our nearest town. adequate ... ish .. but a couple of years ago we were in Okehampton at one of the larger supermarkets and afterwards we called at Kempley 's Catch for a takeaway... what lovely fish and chips they are ... the staff are always pleasant and usually we are greeted with a hello Gail from behind the mask and our order is waiting for us ... lovely people and lovely food ... So now it has become a regular trip up to Okehampton from the Launceston area to visit the supermarket and afterwards call at Kempley 's Catch.. Ver carta
