Kettenkasten - Carta

We have visited this restaurant in Warnemunde various times now and always left smiling and well fed. Excellent service, well priced daily (fish) specials and good options for kids too. Recommended!!

Kettenkasten is a very nice restaurant by the canal Am Strom in Warnemünde serving good traditional food and equally good beer. Service is friendly and the ambience is nice. You won’t be disappointed!

this is an attractive restaurant where sung in the evening. we went to drink and sat down to the beautiful old bar. we thought we were going to dinner somewhere else, but after we looked around somewhere else, we returned. we got a slightly frosty reception, but finally.

We stopped in here for a couple of drinks whilst it was raining, and thought it looked very good. The beer was excellent and we enjoyed sitting at the bar. We had already eaten, but the food we saw being served looked good. Next time...we are in Warnemunde we will probably stop here for lunch.

This is an attractive restaurant which has singing in the evening. We went for a drink and sat up at the nice old bar. We thought we'd go elsewhere for dinner but having looked elsewhere returned. Rather than taking a shore excursion, my husband and I went into Rostock, a lovely picturesque town. We were in search of a schnitzel and found a delicious one here. Initially, we were confused as the menu lists it as Hamburger Schnitzel, which to us...means it was made out of hamburger. Not so. A great lunch, right by the water. Super service and good beer to accompany the meal.

we were in town on a cruise ship, which stopped in Warnemuende. Instead of going on the Berlin excursion, we just checked out this little town. We happened to be there when Germany played France in the World Cup was very cool. the place...had tv's set up inside, and the place was packed with friendly locals we didn't eat here, but the food we saw looked great. the beer was very good, and the service was good.

Our cruise ship docked in Warnemunde for a day. Many cruisers took the hour bus trip into Berlin but we decided to walk the port and enjoy the sunny, though chilly day in July, at this German seaside resort town. We wanted to take...a port cruise but the ones we found were only in German. Our lunch was outdoors at this restaurant. Menus are available in both German and English. Beer was as cheap as bottled water ! Our schnitzel lunches were delicious and our waiter was polite and efficient. Ver carta
