I’m afraid there was absolutely no atmosphere, staff looked bored

we had canceled a table on the day of the r booking as they told me that the chef went early to home, he was just one if you would close soon? poor service

the restaurant has closed the day after the visit well – despite the booking of a table, we only found out when we arrived there. half of the menu was therefore not available.

Food was good. Value was great with our nhs discount. Service could do with improvement. It was slow and the servers could do with putting a smile on and being a little more friendly.

Although the restaurant was nearly empty the food was only warm. Certain drinks were not available.Only the service was good but with fewer than 10 people in the restaurant they didn't have much to do.

Normally i would recommend it... but they had no chicken gyoza, sweet potato fries, vanilla ice cream, burger buns and some other things i cant remember. Also the heating was broken so we were sat there in our thick coats.

The food drinks at giraffe always used to be top notch. However, that was a number of years ago. The few times I’ve been there in the last 2 years I’ve come away feeling like I’ve been ripped off. I think giraffe has a lot of work to do when it comes to competing against other rivals on the high street restaurant scene. The host who greeted us when we arrived might to well to understand a friendly demeanour goes a long way in customer service.

since the last visit 18 months ago downhill. cocktails were apparently 2 for 1 but only was the additional one offered at the end of the meal when 2 listed on the bill. large piece of bone found in rodeo chicken flour. the personal apologised from the excused bill. no atmosphere, more than half of the restaurant was empty, but the personal turned tables away that seemed strange! it was not very welcome as seemed to get rid of the employees of customers to go home.

this restaurant obviously goes very soon out of the business, which would have been really nice to know at the time of booking. more than half of the menu not available, so the choice of food was a challenge, due to lack of personal and who knows what they kicked us out at 9.30 a.m., on a Friday night uncanny! I couldn't caffeine when they turned off the machine, really had to laugh. the rettung of the gnade was a beautiful chap that served us, very apologetic and too right gave us 50% off as it was so shocking! Do not think that it will be open much longer, so they avoid it!
