"We were staying at a nearby hotel, which recommended Leons to us (with a 15% discount voucher as they did not have an onsite restaurant. We were slightly apprehensive after reading some of the trip advisor reviews, but being tired and hungry after a long 8 hour drive, we thought we would give it a go! On arrival, we were greeted by a lovely waitor, who had some intuition that we were English before we even spoke! He sat us at a table (with English menus! , explained the menu and took our drinks order. Although the restaurant was very busy (including many locals we received excellent efficient service throughout the evening and the food was delicious. Although previous reviews have said the restaurant was dirty, we did not see this on our visit (perhaps management have taken heed of the review . Overall, we would not hesitate to visit this restaurant again if in Colmar, based on the service and the value for money for a two course meal."

"We were greeted by a disturbed person, he must have been short-staffed. Then the pieces of beef which should have been rare were lukewarm and medium rare. Finally after the main course, no one came back for dessert and coffee (we should have been punished) so we got up, paid and left. I have seen better and rarely worse.
