Kim's Plaice - Carta

I've had take away and sat in the restaurant part for Haddock and chips. Good portions and it's well cooked. Service is friendly and helpful. will continue to come here when in the area.

Great little takeway, we wanted a change from Pizza Thursday in the office, so decided on Fish Chips, portion sizes were great, not to greasy, we would highly recommend and will be back for another Fish Chip Thursday.

Had the Kims special in the restaurant. Cod and chips, Mushy peas, slice of bread butter and a pot of tea for £9.95. The food was top class and the tea pot was good for 21/2 cups. Great value for money and prompt service. Ver carta

As it 's cold out the mo., treating myself 2 a sit down meal of haddock, chips, mushy peas a beer. Yet another good plate of hot food str8 from the 'kitchen '. Well worth it, as a treat : very good sit down service. What more can I say.

We preordered 30 portions of fish chips for delivery on a Saturday night. The food arrived on time, in individual boxes along with cutlery and sauces. The food was still hot and delicious. Everyone agreed that Kim 's Plaice serve excellent fish chips. They are our 'go to ' local fish and chip shop.

Great for a meal anytime. It was our first time eating here today and we loved it! I had cod and chips with mushy peas, pot of very hot tea and bread and butter, my kids had chicken quarter and chips and burger and chips and the food was delicious and we will certainly go back to Kim’s Plaice. Ordered takeaway for family visit for ‘London’ themed celebration. The Fish Chips were great everyone said they were this best fish and chips they’d eaten. We had to change the order a few times due to extra additions to the celebration but none of this was too much trouble for Kim’s Plaice. They provided great service and delicious food.

I went to Kim’s today 21 april at 12.15. I bought 2 cod 1 chips and mushy peas. It was so disappointing and was very greasy and tasted like yesterday’s. The fish was very flat like it had been refried. I’d bought the meal for my elderly parents and when we opened it at home we tied it and threw it in the bin. They have been there before in the evenings and said it was nice. But not today.

Visited Kims Plaice yesterday and dined in. Was delighted with the friendly reception by the staff. Sat at at spotlessly clean table and environment with pleasant decor. Even the aquarium was sparkling and clear. Great menu with sensible good value prices. Both waitresses were charm personified and very attentive. They would both be able to get jobs in the most exclusive of restaurants. As for my Haddock and chips, I have to score them at 11 out of 10. I only hope that future visits will be as perfect as I intend to be a regular. Ver carta
