Kin - Carta

I ordered the singapur noodles vegan, which proved to be a very underwhelming dish. it came with some tofu stuffs, but the whole plate / noodle needed more taste, as it was quite boring. my dining room partner had made the red curry vegan and that was pretty good, but quite standard. I can't say I'll be back when I get the underwhelming experience.

Thoroughly agree with one of the comments below. The food is really excellent but the experience of eating here is made less enjoyable by being given the starters and the main courses all at once. You then find yourself eating the starter really quickly before the main course gets cold. And the table is uncomfortably crowded with dishes. I also dislike having to use an app to view the menu.

Finally found a khao soi that stands up to the ones we tasted in Chiang Mai! Really fantastic broth and tender chicken, nice buildable heat ask for extra mustard greens. The noodles are rice noodles which is incorrect for khao soi, and the fried noodles on top were not crispy enough, but I was so happy with the flavor of the broth I didn’t mind much. Really rich and flavorful coconut sorbet for dessert as well (we like to add peanuts on top). Other food was okay, but I’d come back for the khao soi. Ver carta

my 11-year-old niece and I booked a last table at kin on a flight to london. we really made it very happy what a fab place! not only the staff was warm and welcoming, but the eating was excellent. we chose to share several small plates and were blown away from the quality and fresh. my niece just loved the ducks of spring rolls and booze stickers, but for me was the salt and pfeffer calamari to die! very pleased with the whole experience and would recommend that kin my niece to hesitate is shameful that it is a 5/5 place, and I agree!

We ordered veggie food as this is our daughter’s preference. We are on a trip to London and as the hotel restaurant is shut we had no idea where to order from. Our daughter found Kin on deliveroo and we ordered veg pad kee moo and veg chilli oil wantons. We choose the right spice range for us with spicy to hot. The price was good and in recycle packaging. We have to say the food was amazing and would recommend to anyone. We are planning to either order again for our hotel room or to seek out the restaurant. Made our first night memorable…..thank you

this is a great restaurant and a great value, I recite it! the cost for a meal for two with plenty of food and a few beers was £75, which to my understanding represents a great worth. were generous and the standard of cooking was really good, that was one of the best thais I had in a long time. the decor is quirky and interesting, the only (very small) handle was the benches were a little hard!<br I give only 5 stars for restaurants that I think are really extraordinary if I give 4.5 stars for cinnamon I would. if they wish a great worth thai, they give them a visit, they will not be disapointed. The restaurant is a short walk from Farringdon station so very easy to get to for most. Upon entering there is a warm and cosy atmosphere, small enough to feel intimate, large enough to have a buzz. The service we received was attentive and super friendly and our food was quick, hot, fresh and ample sized. The flavours were just great, wonderfully seasoned down to the spring rolls, which for me, with no sauce can be a bit flavourless, but not here. I agree that it isn't a place for a romantic meal or a deep chat. The food all at once, was a bit different, but with our party all sharing along with the frequent clearing of plates we managed ok. I've been loving and using this place now at least once a week for over 6 months. I have issues finding food I like and once I found here I was really happy. Today was rather strange though. I order through deliveroo as I'm disabled, and always order my green curry with prawns. This was not an option on the deliveroo menu so I always ask for that in the comment box. Always been fine. Today they phoned up and quite angrily garbled that they could not do prawns in the curry, and would instruct all staff not not allow me to have this in future. They said something about changing the price. But hung up abruptly and rudely. This is fine if they want to change the price, I will pay it. But to call...

Booked a table for 8 people, turned up bang on time and we were ordered to wait outside. As it was a joint birthday and leaving do for 2 of us, we had some extra guests. When 2 extra turned up and we only had 1 spare seat the manager, without informing me, told them that one of them would have to leave. I spoke to the manager when I found out, and she was clearly ready to die in a ditch over us not being able to seat any more people. I was left mortified, having to turn friends away, despite there being empty tables around us, and 2 empty seats on the table next door.
