"Was looking at the menu when a couple came out saying how lovely it was, so decided to try for first time. We had the 3 course lunch each £14.90 had Perkins style spare ribs. 2 chicken and beef slices in house curry fried rice with a side of chips. 4 spring rolls. The spring rolls i would say was the best thing I eat. Curry was watery bland no taste of curry chips were bland i would give it a 4 out of 10. The staff were really friendly very busy. I would not be going back in a hurry."

The calamari was great, goes really well with sweet chilli sauce but had to ask for that as an extra. Chicken fried rice was an ok side dish. Overall great service

just amazing. very nice eating. beautiful owners and employees who accept us by adapting some of the dishes on the set banquet. I've been here in the last 20 years or so loaded and will continue to feed.

Wow superb. In my 25 years in the UK, one of the few Chinese restaurants that could compete in New York City and it's right here in Newcastle. Sweet! Most everything is excellent but can give a shout out to their very tasty Ma Po Tofu. Give it a try with rice. So good.

excellent choice for seafood and Chinese. the firm to the birthday of woman and the moment when we entered the staff were friendly, let them take time to order and the eating was perfect. that was my first time here, but it won't be the last. the personal is a credit for the business.

3 of us on a Saturday evening before Christmas in the heart of newcastle’s chinatown. the emerald bankett ordered. it was excellent. highlight for me was the stirring fried royalties in Satay sauce. the rest of the party never had a chance. every part of the meal was on place and the service was also brilliant. bottle gavi was very nice and quite expensive. really good experience and will definitely be back for more of the same.

My husband and I came here last Tuesday evening. We couldn't believe how busy it was for a weekday evening. However it soon became clear why it is so popular! The staff and service are absolutely fantastic. Really efficient and friendly. And the good was gorgeous! It's the second time here in around six months and we will definitely be back as soon as possible. We live out of town but it's well worth the effort to travel into Newcastle.
