Just went for drinks, but the service was good and the pub has lots of character. You have to go round the back to the entrance which is a little quirky. Price per person: £10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Excellent food Sunday lunch for 7 was well catered for with vegetarian options as well as the typical roasts. Plenty of fresh vegetables cooked perfectly, variety of beers wines, friendly attentive staff. Log fire in the old beamed Cotswold building, plenty of parking. Ver carta

Fantastic service this evening and some of the best belly pork I have ever tasted right from the start the staff were attentive and friendly ...the chef should be proud and after finding out he only 19 only good things to come from him all in all fantastic pub pat on the back amd staff

I highly recommend this pub. I visited on a Saturday night and tried the Surf 'n' Turf special; it was amazing! Both the steak and calamari were tender and cooked perfectly. The food is reasonably priced for the quality, and the service was excellent. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, service a 5, and atmosphere a 4.

The pub is beautiful, but lacks energy. The staff is lovely, but the lack of customers is concerning. Perhaps a change in ownership could improve the situation. The entrance through the back door or restroom is off-putting. The garden is nice, but could use a more luxurious feel. Some tender loving care could really make this place shine! The food and service both receive a rating of 3, but the atmosphere only gets a 2. I recommend trying the Sunday lunch. Ver carta
