excellent pub food. great value and service with a smile. classic wooden house. can not wait to go back

We found the staff to be friendly and the service efficient, they were always happy for us to sit at reserved tables until someone turned up for them. Beer good if a bit pricey.

more delicious shrub. it is always promising if a pub has a good selection of specialities and regular items: but not tons of options that suggest that eating is all prepared in a microwave. very appreciated the service!

Nice pub just a short walk from the quayside. Extremely generous portions (seriously the large fish and chips is more than enough for two people! . All the food was delicious and staff were very pleasant. 2 children’s meals and 2 adult meals, with drinks, came to about £60.

During a long weekend visit to Lymington, we visited on our first night but they were fully booked. Booked a table for our last night. Relaxed ambience, nice decor, very helpful and friendly staff and the food was excellent. We had a very pleasurable couple of hours here and a most enjoyable experience. Thank you..

We really enjoyed our stop in at The King's Head Inn. The staff were very friendly and well trained. Good food at a mid range price. We are sausage sandwiches and salmon timbal. About £10 each. Topped off with a pint each. The area is a delightful part of the coast and the pub itself is in the historic section. Well worth a visit.

this is a beautiful pub with a fantastic ambiente without tw and many great tables for friends and families to gather. they have a beautiful wood burner that makes it a very cozy place to be. they would find it hard to go in there and not end up in a conversation and maybe find new friends. the guinness is good, and the personal pleasant, but the price of the drinks was a little above the tip. there would have been five if it weren't so expensive!

sometimes you just have to act on impulse. my wife and I had made a Sunday afternoon afternoon sleep, and when we passed the pub we could smell food. the conversation went like that. that smells good, wouldn't it be nice to have someone who cooks today? this place is almost 300 years old, so has character. the broken halloumi and chips were right. we were in and out within an hour. and they had tabasco. all in all a good incentive of the moment choice.

Lovely old pub with loads of character. The food was delicious. My only disappointment was that I had said when booking that we were a visually impaired group, but we were given no help finding our table or carrying drinks, which is tricky when you have a white stick in one hand, as as it's an old pub, there were steps up and down to negotiate. As soon as we'd paid for our food and drinks, the drinks were put on the bar, and the barmaid tuned out to assistance requests. Granted, it was busy, but it felt like we weren't genuinely welcome.
