Food pretty underwhelming and overpriced. Most expensive restaurant we had in Taormina. Not worthy of a Michelin recommended restaurant. Courtyard was beautiful though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €100+ Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

We had the 4 course fish taster plus dessert menu with the wine pairing. The raw fish dish first course was explained well, and was good, but neither of us were fond of the Amberjack, but that was down to personal preference. The pasta dish was my favourite, dessert was good too as were all the wines. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The food was beautiful in both taste and appearance, I went with my family of 3 and we shared 2 antipasti, 2 pastas, 3 mains and 3 desserts which was honestly too much food but was still easily finished due to its quality. My only criticism of the food is that a couple of the more decorative sauces were used more than once which slightly took away from the character of the dish, namely the mint sauce which was used in 2 of the antipasti and 2 of the desserts, but even with this all the dishes and wines were well explained and tasted great.

Good with exaggerated prices I went to this restaurant with high expectations, having found it in the Taormina Michelin Guide. The dishes and the service are not bad, some are quite good and some are not so good. In general the dishes are very messy and poorly studied in terms of combining tastes and flavours. When you pay €35 to €40 per dish you expect excellent quality and surprising combinations, which are lacking in this case. Even the external location does not correspond to a restaurant with a minimum price of €100 per person: Christmas lights thrown on a hedge, very inelegant purple lights in front of the restaurant, square external tables too large for a dinner for two, etc. At the c...

We could only make a reservation at 9:00 PM, apparently it was not possible before then. After waiting for some time we were assigned a table. Afterwards no more customers were added. The service was substandard. This came to a head at the end, when we got our coffee, but the accompanying chocolates were offered on another table to people who weren't having coffee at all. When our expresso had been consumed for ten minutes and we were waiting for the bill, the lady, who had been secretly watching everything, offered us the five pralines, which of course we did not touch again. This place is absolutely fantastic. Very quaint and the pictures I’ve seen don’t do it justice. Every detail is classy and elegant and yet unpretentious in terms of the decor. The food? Out of this WORLD. Every bite was a dream. It’s a 2 minute walk from Four Seasons. A tiny bit hard to find as Google Maps will take you around it, unfortunately. Just turn left from the hotel entrance exit, and it’s the first alley on the right. Go to end of street and look left and you’ll see it.
