"today we were again on a sunny weather at the good karlshöhe and followed the round. it was all we remembered a year ago. the old trees wore many fruits, and the farm garden and the cervical garden bleeded their fragrant into the sky. After we returned to the beekeeper who reported us again about the survival of the bee colonies, we went into the bistro, which is located opposite the floor. the friendly service, I think it was the pawn, asked us so that we could see the cake they had in the offer. I ordered two pieces of self-baked plum cake and a cup of coffee crema and we sat on the sun terrace afterwards. the jenna again was very good because they immediately put themselves in position to miss nothing. quickly the waitress came with the order and also brought a bowl with fresh water for jenna. now until the bistro: the dining room is very large and on the walls there are regale with info material and honey from the carlshöher imker. a Sunday-family brunch of 10.30 – 15.00 clock is offered. it is not cheap at €25, but they can find a large selection of cold appetizers, such as roast beef, various anti pasti, a large salad selection as well as a cheese and disc plate. every third Saturday in the month there is a vegan vegetarian brunchbuffet, with delicious food – without animal products. but will not be my favorite, because I love to eat meat and sausage. the prices for Sunday brunch are in the cellar. it costs only 18,00 € with drinks. our today's cake unfortunately came out of cooling and was not as fresh as offered. with 2,90 € he was also not in the lower segment. the coffee was so strong that I had to pour into a proper pressure of milk, so it became pourable."

the cake is a ****! he is freshly baked for the garden bistro and is always a visit in the connection with the delicious coffee (if you forget the sorts). Also the brunch on Sunday can convince with the good quality of the meals offered. I don't think they can do anything wrong here.

the small house garden bistro I can put all in the heart that gives a lot of money for eating. because it's worth it. the location is very quiet and sunny. they are served quickly what I think is worth it anyway because of the few clientele. there is a delicious day soup for only 4.50 euro that I usually get. currywurst with pommes costs 8 euro and are delicious. that stands on tasty taste, should pay and enjoy the 8 euro. a delicious dessert there is also what I don't get because I don't stand on red hat, but I tried it last year and even dessert is worth placing some euro. I find the last good and can't report anything negative, so there is the full score.

"There's always a question (in my mind, anyway) as to Michelin's accuracy/usefulness outside of France. In the US, it's not very helpful at all and in Europe ex-France, I've found it hit and miss. Haerlin represented only my second stab at a two-star in Germany and the first meal (Heinz Winkler), while a thoroughly wonderful overall experience, felt like the second star might have been a stretch. Not so at Haerlin, this was a two-star meal that stands fork-to-fork with any I can remember. The food is stylized to within an inch of its life, but close to flawless in both conception and execution. Outside of a large selection of generally unremarkable breads and a luke-warm roasted onion broth added to an amuse at table side that probably should have been hotter, the meal was simply one perfect dish after another. Maybe the sorbet intermezzo was a little old school in such a fashion forward meal, but - hey - it was delicious! Keep it.The room is suitably formal, luxurious in a traditional style, and quite comfortable. The pace of service might be a little leisurely for some (I ate alone and the four-course menu (seven + courses, including amuses, etc) pushed it a bit, stretching just over three hours. However, the friendly and attentive staff kept an eye out the entire time and stopped by if the time between courses presented the opportunity. The somm, in particular, was a great diversion, visiting from time to time to discuss the varied and interesting wines on offer. He provided useful insight into the outstanding selection of trocken Rieslings on the list. He guided me to a 2001 Burklin-Wolf GG that, at Eu 150, was both a great bottle of mature white and a tremendous value for a wine of this quality in this type of restaurant. (Good luck finding a white burgundy of this quality at this price at any multi-star restaurant - or at retail, for that matter.) He also suggested a wonderful German Pinot Noir by the glass that worked perfectly with the meat course and wasn't terribly expensive. The list is extensive, but not the tome you see at some restaurants, but don't be fooled - wine service at Haerlin is both a major plus and represents notable value in the context of multi-star restaurants.I'm not going to argue two-star vs three-star because that distinction often seems to be kind of mysterious (and tangentially related to the food), but I will say that this place certainly deserves two stars. I had just a flat-out great meal. If you can work in a visit, Haerlin should be high on your list."
