"The Klingenthal restaurant is one of our regular haunts when in Paderborn. Situated on the 2nd floor of Klingenthal the staff are always very welcoming, the menu has weekly specials and is of a very good standard. Popular with locals the buffet breakfast is very popular and lunch can get quite busy at times however you can always find a table. Service is very good (with the staff being very attentive) and overall standard of food is high."

"After we had finished our walk through the Paderborner Weekly Market (we were mainly at the stand of the eiehof, which offers there meat from the free-running Swabian hurlland pigeons, and I had forced our young ones a minimal cultural program in the form of the 3 window, the “I am hungry” – noticed more frequently and more clearly. I remembered one that I had visited a few years ago with colleagues at a professional paderborner intermezzo and who remained in good memory. so family convinced and continued to the Indian palast in the riemeke road. parking spaces are available on the road and with some luck as we had to cross the road. the Indian palast looks in the inner, how to imagine in the rule an Indian local. divine statues and pictures with scenes from Hindu mythology, dark wood and in a rear corner even a table, i.e. a table, just above the height of the floor, without real chairs, for it with many kisses and small schemata to feed in the orienting feeling. only everything that is typical, how to imagine an Indian restaurant, something overload. my children like it, but my case is not that. I don't need theatre scenes to go 3 stars for the environment as a small tip on the melodies in advance to dine Indian. there is a small advertising film on the homepage of the restaurant, which is very beautiful and also gives a small view of the kitchen. I have only seen in the order, but I really liked (the film . service when entering the local we were greeted by a young man, probably Indian origin (I am not sure, but also does not play any role, friendly welcome. Apart from us there was only one small family present, we could choose our table almost arbitrarily. our youngest would have liked to go to the couch table, but my wife and I wanted to eat “normal” and so we decided to have a table at the window. shortly after we have passed the menus to us. it contains, as so often, an almost insurmountable amount of different directed. we therefore focused on the two sides with chicken and lamb specialties. after a reasonable waiting period the young man came back to our table to get the order. we decided to: butter huhn – explicitly mild (11,50 € mango huhn (11,50 € chicken tikka masala – explicitly mild (11, € mutton (lamm vindaloo – sharp – with nan instead of rice (11,50 € added: 2x cola 0.3l for every 2, € 1x spezi 0.3l for 2, € 1x spezi 0.5 l for 3,50 € the drinks then came completely cool. in the same course we were exposed with small metal-Breth plates and a basket with 4 papadam and 3 dips were placed on the table. After a very pleasant waiting period, the food was served. first the small metal plates of the papadam were removed and then preheated plates were covered. the foods were served and wished us all a good appetit, and also noticed that we are still able to eat rice at any time when it was not enough. when the teller was released again, was asked if everything was in order. and with the bill came a tablet with 4 small snapshots with mango juice (because of the children only juice, as the waiter kindly noticed, as well as a bowl of dosenchel Seed (very delicious after eating). Overall we were very satisfied with the service and give for it a lot of 4 stars. the essential papadam with dips: before there was, as described above, a basket with papadam and 3 different dips. the papadam was a little bit too little baked for my taste (I prefer it slightly darker and at least for my taste also unfortunately clearly too mild. but what is his owl to the other is the unholy. my young and my wife have found the spicy completely, I am now the only sharp esser in the family. a yogurt minz dip, a kind of very mild pear chutney as well as the classic sweet chili sauce, the latter probably a comfort product. personally the pear bath was a bit too sweet, but the two juniors found it brilliant. the yoghurt minz baptism was the fallen with me and my wife. I personally missed something sharp. the finished sweet chili sauce that they would like to replace against a self-made, really sharp dip. all main dishes were served in metal dishes with taps. the rice came for all together in a larger dish that was brought to table in a small basket. butter huh and huh tikka masala: both dishes resembled outside. chicken breast in thicker, slightly reddish sauce, marvelled with a few strips of fresh goose. since both dishes were expressly ordered as very mild and not sharp, a certain taste similarity was found. the butter chicken, however, slightly spicy. the meat very delicate and still juicy, the sosty creamy with light pieces, but pleasant in taste. I personally faded, but the child tasted it very well. both parts were eaten almost completely. the rice, optically quite loose (I like him a little sticky I didn't try after my wife said it was good taste and was happy to eat. mango huhn: the chicken meat is very delicate here too. the sauce very fruity and lightly refined with some kokos. that like to eat sweet fruity meat, for which this dish certainly fits very well. my wife was thrilled. with would have missed the sharp again, but it was properly prepared as desired. mutton vindaloo – sharp with nan: the lamb was perhaps a little firm, but still far from hard. the contained kartoffels still bite-resistant and the sose slightly tomatoous with a somewhat protruding ingwer (petific and various aromen. a good sharpness that surprised me first, but after a few pieces I could have been a bit more intense. the nan came divided into 4 quarters and on the table. It was lightly fibrous when tearing as it should be (tie was kneaded enough and from the strength it was optimal that she could both pieces of meat with him and also the sosse “spoon” with him. for a long time, an Indian court that really promised me. I would like to give it 4 stars. I have especially assessed my own court as well as the reviews and testimonials of the other esser, as their courts were much too mild, but just as ordered. the price-performance ratio I felt pretty good. under the week there would be a much cheaper lunch table, but after my experience with other Indian restaurants, where I had to pay significantly more for significantly less and less, I was very satisfied. 4 stars cleanliness all I saw was very clean. 5 stars"
