"Für mich ein no go, wenn man mehrmals ignoriert wird: nachdem wir nämlich keinen Aperol =Getränk mit der größten Gewinnspanne! wollten, saßen wir erstmal buchstäblich auf dem Trockenen. Endlich durften wir doch bestellen....Zum Essen wünschten wir eine Vorspeise. Wir hatten mitbekommen, wie am Nachbartisch eine große gemischte Vorspeisenplatte serviert wurde, diese wollten wir vier auch haben und bestellten sie, wobei diese weder in der Speisekarte noch auf der Tafel über der Theke gelistet war. Am Ende tauchte diese Platte mit 49,90€ auf der Rechnung auf! Jedoch rechtfertigten weder Umfang noch Qualität diesen hohen Preis, weshalb wir uns abgezockt fühlen! Das Ignorieren zog sich im Übrigen durch den ganzen Abend, sowohl die Nachbestellung von Getränken, als auch der Wunsch, eine abschließende Nachspeise zu ordern, war vom Tisch aus NICHT zu bewerkstelligen, obwohl die Bedienung ständig daran vorbeilief. Wir mussten zur Theke vor, um die Servicekraft an unseren Tisch zu bitten! Fazit: Insgesamt schmeckte das Essen ganz gut, aber alles andere drumherum Aufmerksamkeit des Personals, Preisgestaltung stimmte überhaupt nicht! Wir werden das La Romantica nicht mehr aufsuchen und auch nicht weiterempfehlen."

".an ital. restaurant of the middle class in district companion. we sat in the garden with our grandchildren. the outside has come a bit down, it should be judged and clean up. the children ate child carving and pizza salami, I had noodle-combinazione, my wife salat caprese. it was pretty tidy. more we had not expected. of course no noble Italian. the waiter was very nice with ital. charme the prices for quality."

"Leider hatten wir gestern bei unserer Bestellung über Uber Eats einige Schwierigkeiten mit dem Restaurant. Die Lieferung hat fast zwei Stunden gedauert, was schon sehr lange ist. Zudem haben wir extra angegeben, dass wir draußen essen möchten, aber leider wurden keine Besteckteile mitgeliefert. Das war sehr ärgerlich, da wir extra die Option gewählt haben, uns draußen zu treffen und nicht zu Hause zu essen. Als die Lieferung schließlich ankam, war das Essen zwar lecker und noch warm, aber es hat lange gedauert. Außerdem wurde das heiße Essen ohne eine Tasche geliefert. Besonders frustrierend war, dass unsere Angaben zum Treffpunkt draußen nicht beachtet wurden. Am Ende mussten wir zu ihnen hingehen, obwohl wir klar erklärt hatten, wo wir das Essen abholen wollten. Es ist schade, dass diese Unannehmlichkeiten aufgetreten sind, denn das Essen an sich war gut und noch warm. Es wäre jedoch wünschenswert, dass das Restaurant seine Lieferlogistik verbessert, um Verzögerungen zu vermeiden und sicherzustellen, dass die vom Kunden angegebenen Anweisungen beachtet werden."

"Villa Thai has long been in Freiburg's west. First in a former steak house that was expelled with a lot of bamboo and carving. Then in a semi-detached house in Umkirch’s backyard, where even the disassembled decoration objects could not develop a flair and now for a long time in the hotel to the peacock at the former traffic node and the only light of the sleepy place. In general, the changing places had an elaborate and authentic Thai cuisine with good use of goods and corresponding prices. The kitchen was always sincere to her hearty name. With the move to the Hotel zum Pfauen, the frame for Villa Thai was finally also true. For the first time, rooms with Thai furniture are offered at Bieder Baden Freiburg. A well-known sushi master has now been set to round off the offer to serve the seemingly existing demand for fresh fish. Mr. Yuichi Kusakabe wants to follow with Japanese serenity and know-how. During our visit, the covered veranda with wooden shinto shrines and walled Buddhas invited to stay. Our table reservation was carried out very attentively by the house both inside and outside. The sushi preparation takes place in sight behind glass, so I spontaneously limit my selection to the very extensive area there. The cubes were more extensive after traditional Thai cuisine, so the tasks were well distributed. Aperitive were handed over quickly, now I also know that my beloved Kirin Ichiban from Weihenstephan comes in Germany anyway... The restaurant or the veranda filled, the service also remained attentive. With the dishes came a hot cotton cloth, discreetly perfumed, also the designed tool matched the ambience and certainly not come from the Metro Gastro corner. My sushi was attractive in a large paint bowl and was one of the best of its kind in Germany. Genuine wasabi is probably also rare enough in Germany, much finer than the usual green-colored horse stable. Family ubier was also very pleased with her various Thai dishes. The head of the house personally convinced that I have never seen smiles in all these years. Probably there is a separate room somewhere in the basement of the villa... Conclusion: Excellent cuisine in a beautiful ambience with perfect service of exotic excursion at the gates of Freiburg to Umkirch is worth it without restriction."
