Koh Thai Tapas Bournemouth

We always have a visit here whenever we come to Bournemouth and the staff and food were as good as always. Downside this visit was the heater on full pointing into the dining area which was absolutely blinding unfortunately but otherwise, excellent.

When it comes to Thai tapas then look no further, I’ve eaten here for several years and have to say that it’s a real struggle to find Thai food to match this place. Over time I think I’ve tried the whole menu and each and...every dish is delicious. If you like your Thai then look no further, a special mention for the crispy chilli beef, always features in my selection.

best thai I've had for a long time! eating and drinking was amazing, freshly cooked and packed with taste, generous portion size also what they can desire more! the Satay chicken was well marinated and the huh was so tender. The...honey tamarind was also delicious. all good for money and they have to try to see what the fuss is. the reviews speak for themselves, they will not be disappointed.

Amazing experience all round and great value for money. We visited for a family birthday and with 9 of us we chose the option to pay £25 and let them choose a selection of dishes for us. You could not fault the food which was...all beautifully prepared and so fresh and tasty! Our waitress was an attentive lady from new Zealand who just went the extra mile and made our experience that much more special. Can’t wait to visit again!

The restaurant is lovely. Décor and vibe is great. All the staff make you feel welcome and out waitress was great and friendly! I would be lying if i said the restaurant itself is the best bit because the food topped it all. It was...incredible. We had the Thai red curry, and pad Thai Amazing, best we have ever had and we are big Thai lovers. We only came down for a few years, but if we are ever in that direction again we would definitely return!!

We visited on Valentine's day and WOW what an incredible evening! The venue looked amazing and there was such a lovely vibe in there, was nice to see all the servers had made such a wonderful effort for Valentine's. From start to finish our server Chantelle took fantastic care of us! We opted for the Thai tasting and Chantelle's knowledge of the menu was really impressive. The food arrived promptly and was superb! I especially loved the Thai red curry! Safe to say we will be back for another fabulous evening! Thank you Chantelle for making our visit so special

A few weeks ago I visited the Liliiput branch. Last Sunday I visited the big brother branch on Poole hill. Naturally the two restaurants are very different in size…lilliput is small, cuddly, locals, and more..bournemouth is big, manly, look at me, I will feed YOU!...And don’t YOU forget it! The waitresses never seem to stop..lots of hungry customers this Sunday night. Being a group of four we all wanted something different. I went pending curry with coconut rice…it was lush…I remember the Katsu curry being a favourite, a# was the green curry I had a slurp and bit pee pow pow for me. I love this small chain of restaurants, and OMG They do takeaway too…massamans that time and it was so delicio...

I have eaten Thai food many, many time both in the uk, thailand and around the world, I even learnt to cook it so I believe I know the key ingredients which make up Thai food. I went to Koh Thai in Bournemouth expecting to...have a Thai meal, and was very disappointed. I ordered squid, duck and beef all in my opinion were Chinese dishes, cook in a Chinese style with Chinese ingredients, They where mostly cooked well, but not the squid which was undercooked. The menu of the Koh Thai looks good and if you have never eaten Thai good you might even consider it as thia, but you will never see plum sauce used never find bao bums or water chestnut or have soya sauce used instead of fish sauce this...

I came with a family of 7 and we sat at the back it all was going well and our food arrived ready to eat. BUT then the waiter sat 13 grown men right next to our table I believe they were out for a...stag so LOUD and noisy. It’s not their fault but however the manager should have known better to sit them next to a family with young children. My children had to experience them being so loud and using foul language. My child was so upset that we didn’t even finish the food and we packed it away and left. We spoke to the manager but no sympathy was given.
