"We went to this restaurant with my boyfriend and arrived at precisely 20:15. We were met by an unpleasant waitress, but alas this is Paris so we weren’t shocked. What did shock us was that our food did not arrive until almost 10pm.. a good hour and a half after we got there. We were not given bread until after a full hour of waiting, and of course no other snack. No apologies were made for the long wait or explanations, and I should say the restaurant was not particularly busy that evening. They have an open kitchen so you can see the chef working, and he did not look to be in a hurry to prepare the dishes for all the tables waiting. He took his time to chat to guests, discuss wine choices etc. I’m sure that makes for a lovely ambiance, but not when you’ve come from work hungry and have been waiting for an hour and a half for your relatively expensive dinner. The food was good but the quantities were small, especially given the prices they charge, and frankly we were so hungry by the time we got to eat that we didn’t get to enjoy our meal. The wine was very nice. We will not be returning."
