Koto I - Menú

The sushi is horrible. Rice old I have doubts about the fish...ultra expensive. There are much better places in London. Avoid yourself a bad experience!

The sushi lacked flavor. They were out of chicken so I tried the pork ramen instead. The pork was tough and the broth was bland. The prices were too high.

We just had a horribel experience at our hotel sushi restaurant. Horribel tasting sushi, the worst nodles i have ever tasted. We are scared of beeing sick!

This restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy freshly made sushi, expertly prepared by a skilled chef. The tempura shrimp was outstanding. Every dish we tried was delicious. The value for the price is excellent.

The food having Good presentation this is all good about it. We order three ramen and the noodles was so salty and sweet impossible to eat more then three spoons even I speak whit the chef and the noodles was from quick packet for the price we paid we hope something better. Really but experience. Not recommended.

Reading the reviews about Koto, you might think this is the worst Japanese restaurant on Earth. My wife and I ended up there by chance, and were instead pleasantly impressed: a clean and airy ambience, a vast choice in the menu, and good food: we had a full meal and everything was delicious, from the rice to the fish to the vegetables. Perhaps we have been lucky? mah... the service was kind, and the price low. For me, a good place.

The white wine was not cold and when asked for a cold one, they explained that they had just received a wine delivery so none were cold. We decided not to drink the wine but were still charged for it. The food was unimpressive, with tough and seemingly old tempura. We ordered edamame but it never arrived, which might have been for the best. The rest of the food was mediocre, much like the wine. We had a good experience here years ago, but it is no longer worth visiting.

I stepped into this place without really checking up front and expected a somewhat higher bill but then also no fast food style sushi bar. Hmmm... Service was very fast and friendly but the quality of the food was mediocre. The taste of the dim sum starter was OK but you could feel that they were not coming directly from the steaming basket. They had been on the plate for a while as the outside was already drying. Miso soup was good. The chicken teriyaki bento was similar. The rice was not really warm and already starting to dry. We 'd been to an art exhibition (blimey! and fancied dinner. The car was miraculously parked and my partner spotted Koto. Result, we thought, as we both like Japanese cuisine. The restaurant is part of (and entered through on this night The Grange Holborn Hotel, My view of restaurants in hotels was sadly verified. First, it had all the atmosphere of The Moon. None.
