"Il Panino is simply awesome. We went here for lunch and had the 7 course lunch. All dishes were super fresh and tasty and creative. I can recommend everything on the menu. We had great champagne, wine and grappa. Everything was excellent.So far so good but the service was far beyond. I have never seen this friendliness, enthusiasm and knowledge in a restaurant in Germany. The owner was present and commenting every dish we've been served. He described were the wine is from and every single ingredient we should taste. Always friendly and with a smile which counts for every waiter in the restaurant. I live currently in the US and I'm used to friendly service but the Il Panino went beyond.Prices for the normal dishes ranged from EUR7.50-EUR12.50 (for pasta with truffles) which in my opinion is very cheap.I highly recommend the Il Panino."

"We were looking for a trip to Spätzle.Wurden very kindly received with the words that the last day before the holiday was and therefore is already much out.For example, Spätzle. We decided to stay still and it was a very good decision.The onion roast was very good as the pork medals with Rösti.The overall package was perfect and you felt super-resolved. Finally, the cook came to apologize again.Very nice, but unnecessary, as the “replacement” was super tasty!Our next trip goes back to eat again. ;"

"Heute bin ich mit meiner Freundin hier gewesen. Wer es sich also mal gut gehen lassen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Man wird sehr freundlich mit dem italienischen Charme empfangen und zum Tisch begleitet. Ab da begann eine sehr leckere kulinarische Erlebnisreise, die einfach glücklich macht. Man wird sehr angenehm und freundlich durch die Speisekarte und die Empfehlungen geführt. Angefangen mit einer sehr leckeren Vorspeise, über einen sehr leckeren Hauptgang, rundete das Dessert den Abend ab. Mein Fazit: Wenn man einen schönen Abend zu zweit genießen möchte ist man hier gut aufgehoben. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und das essen lädt zum träumen ein. Wir kommen definitiv wieder."

"The “Mare e Monti” is located a short distance from the centre of the eastern town of Reutlingen. The surrounding old town villas and nobler new residential areas are home to a variety of customers to run a restaurant. In summer, people with a glass of Prosecco stand out regularly and wait until a table becomes free. We were looking for a restaurant for the last dinner of our Italian course, so I came back for a year. Ambience Cleanliness The ambience corresponds to the normal average of a Trattoria. Clear terrace with sun protection, not overly decorated, but comfortably embedded between the houses. The interior looks rustic with lots of wood, divided and different rooms. Also here no excessive decoration, but fabric tablecloths, napkins and beautiful wine glasses are a must. The ambience reminds us of a German restaurant, which is more of a kind-bourgeois than an Italian Trattoria. They feel comfortable at the table, even if not all flashes and flashes into the rear corner. The young gentleman of the service is attentive and friendly and likes to explain the dishes of the day ticket. The food goes smoothly to the main dish. Then his interest would be disturbed and we must draw attention to order dessert and espresso. Although the restaurant is quite full, this is no reason to serve the guest until the end. There are simple deductions in the B note. Food beverages The map contains the typical selection of an Italian: antipasti, salads, pasta, pizza, meat and fish. In addition, some daily dishes are always praised on a board at the entrance. We chose: Antipasto Mare e Monti stone bump with potatoes and vegetables Spaghetti alio e olio Ravioli with nuts, Gorgonzola and truffles Grilled shrimp Tiramisu The evening began with a bruschetta from the kitchen, which came just a few minutes before the mixed appetizer plates. So we had on a blow to the aperitif the whole table full of various small treats, from which one could drink to the heart. Vegetables, olives, Vitello Tonnato, Carpaccio and warm baked or grilled vegetables left nothing to be desired. Here I meet the true heart of Italian cuisine. Not too spicy, but tastefully prepared with love from best ingredients, that's it. I've eaten this appetizer several times and it's different every time. A real secret tip. To the main course remained a little time for drinking, wine and **** before it went. My stone butt was pretty moderate. The fillet no longer tasted fresh, was already a bit dry and I'm not a big friend of Panade. I ate much better fish. The white Sauvignon I had chosen at least tasted quite neatly and fits well. My colleagues were satisfied with pasta dressings, especially the ravioli were seemingly exceptionally delicious. There was nothing on the shrimps. I guess I had no luck this time. For Dessert we then chose the Tiramisu. Unfortunately, I had to say here that I had already eaten better. It was simply too watery for my taste and it lacked this irresistible mixture between sweet-creamy, herbal spicy, biscuit soft and liquefied. Conclusion The level in the Mare e Monti seems to have left behind. The antipasto plate is still a secret tip that is completely recommended. But there are weaknesses in the main food and dessert. The service is first nice and friendly, but at some point interest is lost. The ambience is comfortable inside and outside and the price level is not excessive. Hopefully this was just a snapshot with slippers that won't confirm the next time."

"Not that great... and way too expensive. My FIRST review... but it's really necessary! The starter platter for 2 was pretty bland and unimaginative. My Gamberoni were frozen and 2 out of 4 were pretty mushy (typically frozen . The vegetables that came with it were rock hard. No enjoyment. My companion wanted to order salmon. That was all. Instead they offered Pulpo. OK, so she took Pulpo. It was OK, but pretty poor in taste. Now it is common practice to charge the replacement dish at the same price as what the guest actually wanted to order. At least that’s how it is in my company. Not like that here. The Pulpo was significantly more expensive and was priced that way. Wine (Arneis was good and reasonably priced. Very upscale wine selection (e.g. Gaja, from around €100... . But if you want to drink a “Sito Moresco”, you would also like to have first-class food with it. The waiter was extremely friendly (he was probably the boss , but the rest of the staff found the guest rather annoying."
