Krua Thai 88 - Carta

Very much home cooked. Amazing tastes and flavours. Part of the woodwork around here.

Whilst staying in area we ordered a takeaway one evening. Delicious food, great portion sizes, reasonably priced and good service.

We always get a take away and it's always amazing.. quality and taste is consistent and well worth the money defo worth a try.. Will be trying a meal in soon. Ver carta

We had the prawn toast and golden dipping prawns as starters, quite filling really delicious. We then had the red Thai curry which was super aromatic and flavoursome, such depth. Service was absolutely lovely. Highly recommend

What a gem of a restaurant, the food is excellent, portions are huge, costs reasonable and the place has a wonderfully chilled atmosphere. Yes service is a bit slow but absolutely well worth the wait. It’s BYO for alcohol which only adds to the charm.

No atmosphere, person behind the counter would go for a long period of time. Food was ok and hot, felt like everything was just chucked in to one bowl, but portion sizes good. Found food was a bit tasteless. Bring your own, which was a good idea. Will not be returning. Ver carta

So, we spend two weeks per year at Hoburne Naish (early July and mid September) on our "dog holidays. Two things are certain 1. we drive here from our home (nr Brighton) and 2. we visit Krua Thai 88 on our first night and normally 2-3 times in any given week. The quality of food is truly exceptional, through my work I have recently spent time in Shanghai, Singapore and Hong Kong and cannot recall a more enjoyable meal. For clarity, highly recommend...!

Such a wonderful place to dine. We were served quickly and with a kindness that goes unmatched! I went with my sister and my mother for my mother’s birthday (which wasn’t mentioned in the booking) and as a dessert we were greeted with banana fritas and ice cream which were absolutely delicious. The lovely waitress Wikki (I hope that is how her name is spelt) was extremely attentive and realised it was my mother’s birthday and therefore arranged the dessert which was a wonderful surprise for us all. The atmosphere was peaceful and the place is well decorated. I look forward to going back even just to visit the staff. Thank you so much Krua!

Thank You Vicky and Chan for everything. As always, the food is authentic and delicious with ENORMOUS portions I would like to begin by asking everyone, please do come to this place expecting atmosphere. We noticed that bad reviews are complaining about the lack atmosphere. This place is about food and authenticity. And we find it is best enjoyed at the comfort of your own home : We have moved away from New Milton to Bristol 6 years ago, and to this day, we have not been able to find a takeaway restaurant with flavours, at least close to Krua Thai 88. Our top favourite meals are Pad Thai(both chicken and prawn , Tom Kha Gai soup and Massaman curry with simple rice. I highly recommend this pl... Ver carta
