I do not recommend it at all .. Very bad service, the staff deals in an impolite and disrespectful manner with customers

I am a regular customer for this restaurant and every single time I order I take food home and check and I don’t have the full order then I go back and get it again but the food gets cold very bad this has happened several times I will not be returning never again

Great value for money and legendary place in Rusholme! Lamb Quzy and the kofte kebab are spot on, go great with the beans and okra side dishes provide with meals. The bread is freshly made and you get a lot for your money! Praying facility also provided which is added bonus! Ver carta

I was the first reviewer for this restaurant back in 2014 and it seems like there has been a change in ownership. They have now opened a larger restaurant next door to the old one. The food was good, although the complimentary soup was served cold. The prices were reasonable.

This restaurant is terrible. The meat and kofta were burnt and the kofta and rice smelled like fish. The place is not clean and very dirty. We couldn't even eat what we ordered. The waiter was very rude as well. I recommend avoiding this place and saving your money - there are definitely better options nearby.

The food at this restaurant was incredible, especially the fresh salad. I have tried this dish at many places, but this restaurant tops them all. The atmosphere was bustling and deservedly so. As a British couple, we appreciated the multicultural atmosphere of the restaurant. It was nice to see the community in the area mixed and fully integrated, and you could feel that sense of acceptance. Ver carta

this cafe tends to cater for kurdish people. the food is meat based and very tasty, we were three friends having an early evening meal. We ordered a lamb shank, chicken kebab and a meat kebab. This was served with a bowl of lentil soup, a vegetable stew and rice with vermicelli. The food was very tasty and enough for 6 people. Along with three bottles of water the bill came to under £30. Remember this is a cafe so not a place to go to for a romantic meal or to expect Michelin type service. But if want a hearty meal than this a place I highly recommend.

Stumbled across this place whilst in Rusholme visiting the Whitworth Gallery. Just off Wilmslow Road, it doesn’t look like much from the outside but the greeting that my mum and I received was very warm and welcoming. We only wanted a light snack so decided to share the large chillu kebab and to get a portion of chips for my toddler. Little did we know but the portions at this place are massive and we left completely stuffed! Had always wondered about Kurdistan restaurant as spotted it during lockdown last year but it wasn't open. Read some good reviews about it so was glad to visit. The restaurant was spacious and there were quite a few diners there when we got there mid afternoon. Ordered a lamb oozy dish and a mixed grill. While waiting, we were given some lentil soup which was thick and tasty though lukewarm. The lamb oozy dish came with a massive plate of rice topped with some sweet vermicelli currants, an okra stew, a bean stew, and a freshly made flat bread. The lamb was really tender and fell off the bone all in all hearty and tasty but other than the lamb was lukewarm as the food had been ready prepared.... Ver carta
