very good value for money for this restaurant (full menu at 20 €). warm welcome, fresh products and prepared house. an address to be retained!

this Kitsch-Looking-Restaurant near the harbour produces delicious, tasteful dips at midday. very friendly service. my wife had a huge pot of moules and I was served some huge juicy crevettes. highly recommended.

good reception fast. the place is timeless with a particular decoration. We love or not. The dishes don't make you dream, it's not home. It's not bad, but it could be much better. It makes you think of a tourist canteen.

We were very well received by a smiling waitress and available! The children are shocked what is really nice:-)The calypso offers a good value for money and a very good punch for the aperitif! next year for our traditional passage!

Hello. having gone on vacation to arcachon, we fell by chance on the restaurant the calyspo. We're going three times. couple, and two times with friends.Very good reception good quality price. and to finish we strongly invite you to go.

we had seen on tripadvisor and we weren't very happy to welcome quality price. we don't have the view of the other but for 10 to 15 euros less per person no serious and what to say from the reception. . excellent helpful dynamics etc... the kitchen is very good, fresh. ; seafood plate in the perfect menu. .donc results we will go back and look for you no more....Thank you to all the team of the calypso

We visited here on Friday for a late lunch with 2 adults and 3 children. The decor is very bright and cheery with hidden parrots and monkeys which kept the children entertained.Food was nice - limited children's menu - 10 euros for either steak hache and chips or moules and chips - we sampled both and both were a hit with the children - although the moules were not in a sauce so a little bland! I had a steak which was very nice and my husband had the sea bass which he enjoyed.Would probably go again although we were sat inside and there were an usual amount of flies in the restaurant which became quite annoying.

After a days touring and taking an age to find a hotel, what a tonic La Calypso was. The waitresses were very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble. The menu is varied but mainly sea food, the food was very good, all...freshly, and well cooked. My husband had the goats cheese salad which had the most amazing dressing...I wish I 'd asked for the recipe, he then had confit of duck the best I 've had .... thats quite a statement from someone who at best says that a meal is very nice . I happily munched on the fresh bread while my husband ate his first course, then had my 'staple '...moules mainiere...lovely fresh moules, again in a delicious sauce, I think the pepper added a...
