"We stumbled on Casa Di Amelia on our way from Pompeii to Vesuvio and had one of the best meals of our entire time in the region. The offerings were simple plates made up of both fresh and pickled vegetables, cheeses, and olives (they serve meats as well but we were a group of vegetarians so we skipped that). To start, we were welcomed by Amelia in a beautiful small white rural building, where she explained what she had on hand and offered to make us up a vegetarian platter for 2. There are seats with table service under the arbor right outside, or picnic tables spread across a number of terraced lawns. We chose to sit up a level because the view over the Bay of Naples was breathtaking. The food was unbelievable. We had homemade pickled peppers, tomatoes, eggplant, and mushrooms, as well as steamed broccoli rabe, fresh tomatoes, and the best mozzarella cheese I have ever had. All served with a big warm smile. It felt more like we were stopping by a friends house for lunch than at a restaurant for the first time."

we stayed at a birthday year and the location is really beautiful... perfect atmosphere despite the cold that night (no indoor salt). very big sin was the appetizer: well served on a tray large hips of a barrel,) but completely cold frying! Great all the rest. Probably in a warm summer evening we would have appreciated even more the location and the cooler. Ver carta

This place is an absolute gem in a quiet area on the slopes of Vesuvius, and it provided us with the best, most tasteful and heartiest meal in a whole week of travelling in southern Italy. The setting is lovely, decor lively and cheerful, and the service most friendly and welcoming. The mixed starter is amazing. We left happier people after the experience. Highly recommended.

a fantastic place, intimate and familiar. breathe air of the house! in addition to the outdoor garden and the view of the sea, let us forget every problem! I was at lunch at the alibi's house and I didn't want to leave anymore. the food was great and I must say qualitatively higher than the average, but also the portions did not joke! I travel often for work and have a good meter of comparison. the menu consisted of a round of appetizers, with light and crispy pancakes that were very well married to other gooses, a first choice, both of the typical Neapolitan tradition and finally a sweet dessert! a sweet called the kiss of amelia, light, almost a cloud, not surprising, indeed, another teasp...

"I wanted to give you five stars. become 4 for two reasons. the location, as much as the environment is really beautiful with these comfortable benches and large blankets that give a size of order and width, this garden is immersed in the concrete of the buildings around. to get there you go on a small and narrow street where you find place with difficulty. the price, in my opinion, is a little too high, not so much in consideration of the quality of the food that is excellent, as in the context in which it is located. who said, we ate a starter for a person, but it was good for two, with high quality sliced and good cheese. less good mozzarella. excellent meat (for two) and excellent grilled vegetables and baked potatoes (one serving per serving). delicious the semi-freddo to the roast, which I only tasted. a bottle of water and two coke in bottle. total, 84 euro. I'll say a little too much. If I had drunk the wine and if my wife had also taken appetizer, contour and ice cream I think the account would have come almost to 120/130, if not even something extra. and for two people in a position, I repeat, beautiful but not exclusive or panoramic seems a little too. I would have liked the classic coffee or the bitter offered at the time of the account, but they did not offer it. It was a Sunday. for the rest, friendly staff, good but slow medium service, master of the house the teacher, from which takes the name the nice and kind restaurant. Four stars are worth it, but you have to retouch the price. in any case, if you want to spend an evening in a quiet environment and eat excellent meat in the grill, the cellar is a good solution."
