"Went to La Contessa Ristorante in Naples on a Sunday evening. Arrived at 7:45 for an 8 o’clock Reservation. Had a clam appetizer, gnocchi Sorrentino, and grilled lamb with a side of grilled vegetables, plus wine, water, and espresso. Bill was only 38 euros. This included tip and service charge. Ratings on Trip Advisor said that this restaurant was on the higher price side. But, I did not find the prices to be high at all. Service was attentive and professional.place is beautiful. Took a taxi to get there. When I had finished dinner, I asked them to call a taxi for me. They several taxi companies and could not get one to come. Might have to do with it being a Sunday night. The owner or chef, I don’t know which, said to wait a couple of minutes and he would take me back to my hotel. His name was Salvatore. Even before he did this for me I would have recommended this restaurant, but this just made the experience absolutely perfect.i will definitely return to La Contessa because of the great food and the kindness showed to me by Salvatore. Grazie tanti, Salvatore and La Contessa Ristorante.you have mad a friend and a customer for life."

Food is good but the appetizers cost too much How ever the pasta and other foods like second plate and side dishes were good...I’ve been there 3 time ....I love their pasta and pizza

clean and friendly, helpful staff professional and fast. pizzas are very good and also the Italian fried is delicious and abundant, the great variety of desserts proposed are no less. there is parking, follow the rules of ancient times and check the green passage. on the hill of the Camaldoli yesterday we had a very pleasant evening.
