"Un wk trascorso gradevolmente alla Corte dei Papi. Il personale eccellente e attento. I proprietari gentili ed ospitali. Il rifacimento della camera due volte al giorno con la sua pulizia, e cambio di asciugamani e accappatoi per la spa in camera. Consigliamo fortemente questo posto è il suo ristorante. Un posto romantico e un luogo di completo relax. Grazie per per aver fatto di questo wk un tempo speciale."

"I visited this restaurant with my husband as it was close by. It’s situated in a small village and you enter the restaurant from the car park via the beautiful garden and lawn. We were shown into an area which was open but undercover. I ordered a starter of courgettes that were very thinly sliced and covered in an olive oil and balsamic vinegar and flavoured with thyme and basil. It was enormous but so good. My husband ordered the salad which again was substantial. We both ordered fillet steak, mine was with truffle and my husband’s came with a mustard and green pepper sauce. We weren’t asked how we’d like our steaks cooked but they came beautifully cooked and just how we like them. The vegetables were beautiful and we ate everything with gusto. Next came dessert and although I’m not a great lover of dessert I decided that I’d go for it and I’m so glad I did. I chose the meringue which was ice cream with white chocolate chips covered in crushed meringue and my husband chose the apple pastry which he said was delicious. This was all accompanied by a bottle of house white which was very drinkable. The bill was very reasonable and, as my husband absolutely loved this restaurant, he says we are definitely going back."

"We are so happy to be back n Italy and to come to our favorite family restaurant, La Tufa, in the charming village of Ossaia, Tuscany! The food is spectacular and the service is too. Very reasonable prices for the amount of food provided. Pumpkin ravioli, Minestrone soup, lamb, mixed grilled vegetables, greens, a mixed meat plate to die for , and great dessert of lemon sorbet."

"nice local treated in female details by the owner, as the hand menu written with a spring for the cloths that keeps a small colored fabric. two separate rooms for shade, plus a beautiful semi-open space for the summer season, with garden view. you can choose whether meat or fish, from the menu with various and interesting courses. during the choice, the owner informed me of the arrival in the morning of the scars, then I took advantage of it, not to count a first, but an appetizer. He brought me an improvised dish of bruschetta with fish ragout and scarves, very good. I continued with humbrills to the sailor, with mussels, clams and shrimps; the dough at the limit of too much to the tooth, sin the mussels were warmed a little cold, however good. second with fish on cacomela and berries, really good. I ended up with a large portion of homemade English soup, of great goto. with a courteous and punctual service, I got the lunch and good wine chosen from the storeroom of the fig, and not from the list; overall a good width of choice. the cost is right and we are not at sea."

"The place is unexpected , in the middle of almost nowhere , but with a quite large parking lot , a terrace to eat outside . They try to serve the dishes in a non Italian way , nicely dressed and tastefully . It is fine but not the 4/5 stars we had expected . The most disappointing were the prices of the wines . They try to do their utmost you do not order the local or regional housewines that are very good as we know the area and the wine houses that produce these wines with arguments such as : I just sold my last bottle , I only can sell you 1 of the Rosato bottle because Corona prevented us to go and buy there it is only 6 km away and this Rosato house wine is 4.0 on Vivino ! , the wine is not at the right temperature , .....All these arguments in 1 day , when trying to order 3 different wines . A large availability of more expensive wines where they exaggerate as to the prices : x3 or x 4 or 5 when compared to other restaurants closeby . The food does not make up to go there , neither does the environment . There is other restaurants closeby that have the same quality of food , nicer setting but correct pricing of their wines . It is mainly the “ pushy attitude “ that will make us not to go there anymore ."
