Great typical Italian restaurant, focusing on seafood. Well cooked. Good wine list. Was very busy when I went, so service was a bit slow, but made an evening of it sat outside on an early summers night. Ver carta

I visited La Donna Cannone several times with business partners for lunch and once for dinner with friends. Each time was great. Although it is expensive it is with it. Great and discrete service and very good food.

Very flexible owner and staff as we needed to move up our reservation due to our business guest's schedule. Great menu of meat and fish. Wine list has extensive Italian selection of high quality and moderately priced gems. Great location in the new harbor area.

Had a dinner with 8person group of Italian Wine Friends. The charmingly small italian restaurant is as authentic as possible with actively social marstro and his staff make the place to feel very cosy and casual. I booked this place 2 weeks ahead for a business dinner to be on a safe side during ProWein city stir. And I hit the target! We avoided staying in long line and, most importantly, made the right impression in the eyes of our potential business partners. We enjoyed every bit of our food. Moreover, winelist is quite impressive. Staff was really watchful and quick. I'd say they did their job with confidence and pride - it's obvious they know they serve high quality food.

After a first good dinner experience during last year, came back to try it again.- Food still good enough- Synchronization between starters and mains was bad- wine selected was not available and the waiter proposed the next one on the list without having any clue about the food we wanted to order. - The service not at the level of the bill...(trying to fill your glass of wine to finish the bottle as quick as possible.../borrow a bit of olive oil while we are waiting for the starters from table next door and put it back...No enough olive oil in an Italian restaurant)

We had not booked, and arrived at the restaurant only to be told it was full and would be an hour wait. We were just about to head out the door, when one of the waiters said that they could make a plan, and put us at the little bar counter for our starters. We were very pleased, and it worked perfectly. By the time we were ready for mains, a few tables had opened up, so we got to enjoy our meal at a lovely table.The food is absolutely amazing. I had the truffle pasta, which was incredible.The waiter recommended an excellent wine.We really enjoyed our evening, and will certainly be back the next time we are in Dusseldorf.
