"Imagine a restaurant with only 12 places inside and 10 outside and 3 people working in a kitchen of 2x2 meters. That’s ‘La Farigoule’ in Rue Meynadier, a family run restaurant with a traditional French cuisine. There is a 3-course menu for only 17 Euros and all other dishes are reasonable prized. Mother Patricia is the host in this tiny place and does so with French perkiness. The wine we ordered (also reasonable prized) came from the other side of the road where they have a second restaurant with the same name (Farigoule is a wild thyme from the Provence and also the name of a liqueur made from it). During our diner we were surprised that the amount of dishes coming out of the small kitchen was much more than the amount of guests. These plates were collected by a lady running in and out of the place. After our diner we went outside and observed the running lady serving another restaurant 30 meters beyond. A family conglomerate? Anyhow it was good value for money and with running 3 restaurants people must appreciate that, like we did."

I found this lovely restaurant quite by accident. It was a very friendly place with great service. The food was lovely and portion sizes quite large and great value for money. The atmosphere was great.

In Cannes you have plenty of good restaurants. This is not one of them. Greasy beignets, industrial daube, and uninteresting fish. Better try Bons Enfants, just in face, a bit more expensive, but one of the best in zone. Ver carta

This is a good find in Cannes. With a menu of 17 euros for 3 courses, good size plates, wines good prices. Good food choice on the menu. Nice friendly staff. Small.and cosy. Outside terrace etc etc. This restaurant is well established. Well recommended by us.Peter and Eileen Field

Lots of great restaurants around but said we'd give this one a try for something new. Courgette flowers was mainly batter and grease and house speciality had fish and seafood that tasted days old. Ended up not eating it as afraid of being ill! I never write bad reviews but feel this place is to be avoided!

Was here for my mother's birthday dinner and she was made to feel a million dollars. Food was great and the price was amazing, but if you're a 'foody' maybe this is not your place. The location of the restaurant also fab for people watching whilst being in the old part of Cannes. Would come back here again in a heartbeat! Ver carta

My husband and I randomly walked by this place and decided to try their lunch menu. The portion sizes were large, the service was excellent (the waitress spoke English very well), and the place is nice and cozy. We were very happy with the quality of the dishes and left very satisfied. Would recommend for a nice and quiet meal.

We were in Cannes in January and went by bus to Grasse for the day. At the first two restaurants we went into we were ignored so left very hungry as lunchtime was passing us by. We we walked a little further down the road and saw this restaurant down some steps so walked in. We were warmly greeted and placed at a little table. The restaurant is run by a husband and wife team, husband at front of house and wife (as usual) in the kitchen!! The restaurant is not large, perhaps only 18 - 20 places (sorry am having to do this from memory), not grand, oil cloth on the tables but oh, the food. We had confit of duck and almost licked the plates it was so good. The dessert, tart tartin, was also home...

"UN ACCEUIL DEPLORABLE : Je vous énonce les faits : Après avoir cherché sur internet un restaurant sympa, je décide de venir tester ce restaurant ayant de bonnes recommandations sur internet.Je me présente à 22 :04 devant l’entrée du restaurant. Un monsieur discutant avec deux clientes assises à table se présente précipitamment devant moi et me barre littéralement l’accès au restaurant avec son bras, sans dire « Bonjour » ni dire un mot et me regarde avec des grands yeux. Devinant que ce monsieur (ayant un accueil quelque peu agressif) travaille dans le restaurant je m’adresse à lui : Moi : « Bonjour Monsieur, est-il possible de manger SVP ? » Restaurateur : « Non » (sèchement)Moi : (Etonné par une réponse si sèche et courte) « Pour quelle raison ? »Restaurateur : « Mais vous avez vu l’heure qu’il est ? Il est passé 22h…. »Moi : (quelque peu déstabilisé par si peu de courtoisie) « Dommage, au revoir »Sans même me saluer, le restaurateur retourne discuter avec ses deux clientes. Même dans un fast food l’accueil est de meilleure qualité. Je ne m’attendais pas à ça dans un restaurant présentant un couvert à environ 30-50€/ personne.Cher Monsieur le Restaurateur, Je peux comprendre qu’un jeudi à 22H les cuisines soient fermées. Mais voici ce qu’il se serait passé chez un Restaurateur courtois, poli et surtout ayant le sens de la relation client : Restaurateur : Bonjour Monsieur (avec un sourire : la base non ? )Moi : « Bonjour Monsieur, est-il possible de manger SVP ? » Restaurateur : « Malheureusement les cuisines sont fermées. Mais ce sera avec plaisir que nous vous accueillerons demain ou un autre soir entre 19h et 21h par exemple ». Moi : « Ah dommage. Bonne soirée ».Restaurateur : « Je vous souhaite une excellente soirée et espère vous revoir prochainement. Je vous laisse une carte de visite, n’hésitez pas à nous appeler pour réserver une table. Au revoir. »Voici une bonne façon Monsieur d’expliquer à un potentiel client prêt à débourser entre 50 et 70€/ personne chez vous, que vous n’êtes pas en mesure de le servir à 22H.JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS CE RESTAURANT."
