La Ferme de Flaran Restaurant

We just had a wonderful Sunday lunch at La Ferme de Flaran. Very tasty and traditional Gascony cooking with warm and professional service! Be sure to reserve as the restaurant fills up on the weekend.

we had two classes for lunch. this is the second time that I am here, the first is two and a half years ago. last time and that I have enjoyed the service is tips that eat is imaginatiw and tasty and there are some...big wee. I hope to make many more visits

We stopped here for lunch (impromptu) on a cold day. The welcome was very warm even though we did not have a reservation. Excellent menu choices including a vegetarian one and the service was friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant. Ver carta

some friends were very enthusiastic about la ferme de flaran, so after visiting the abtei decided to review it. we were not disappointed. eating was easy, but delicious, very good value for money in a wonderful environment. the staff was polite and helpful. we will definitely return.

Good value for money in pleasant surroundings. We had starter of moules mariniere, followed by roti de porc and finally croustade de pommes, washed down by very acceptable house rose. Good standard, not copious but OK. We ate on the terrace. Dining room inside looks smart and attractive. Not eaten there in the evening so can't comment about dinner quality and value.Excellent loos, way above the average to poor standards one so frequently gets in France!

We took one of our friends for lunch when he visited us for a short holiday. We had had an average meal the year before at this restaurant so we booked it with some trepidation. All our friends had said how good it was so we decided to give it another try and we were not disappointed. We sat in the gardens under large umbrellas to protect us from the sun. We chose the set meal at 19 euros and we all loved every course. They even offered a vegetarian option which is so rare in France! Our friend had duck which he said was deliceous. On route to Condom recently at lunchtime we decided to stop at La Ferme de Flaran. Outside was their Menu du Jour for 15 euros which looked very appetising. We had a smiling warm welcome and were shown to our table in their very pleasant light and airy restaurant. We had limited time (otherwise we may have decided on one of their various other menu options) so we plumped for the 15 euro menu. Our starter was a seafood risotto with salad, our main was beef bourguignon and the desert was a creme brûlée .Wine is included as is coffee. A really good quality lunch and fantastic value. Will be back when next in the area .

just a few minutes walk from the famous abbaye de flaran in the heart of gascony landscape, this restaurant is fabulous not only for the location that eating is stunning. we have been offered a local aperitif, armagnac a l’orange with sekt and we have never plundered again! the butternut cheese soup, served in a carved pumpkin was the best I ever had. the service was nice, they spoke some English to feel welcome and we really have like appreciated guests as if we went every week and they were happy to see us! if I lived in the opposite, this would be my way to restaurant for all the places, as there are different menus of ridiculously great worth to seriously gourmande!

Whilst in Gascony, a must-do visit is to Flaran Abbey, a 13th Century Cistercian abbey, located about 10 km from the cathedral city of Condom. The Abbey comprises well-preserved buildings, a large herb garden, a Roman mosaic and an art gallery, all accessible for a...very modest entrance fee of 5 euros $5). Less obvious and hidden from view by hedges along the main road and the road leading to the Abbey lies the delightful and charrning inn, La ferme de Flaran.
