Superb Sunday lunch with friends today, we chose the menu "Gasgon" and enjoyed every mouthful. It was great to find a local restaurant with great choices of dishes made with local produce, with a unique style - such good quality! The welcome was as good as the food. My cousins recommended this restaurant as they have a home in the next village. We were celebrating my husband's birthday with 18 members of the family who were in town for a wedding. The food was fabulous, the chef was very accomodating of our family's food allergies and we had a lovely table on the deck overlooking the garden. A great celebration

What a treat! The best spicey tiger prawns I've ever eaten followed by a lamb tagine and a beautiful melt in the mouth chocolate gâteau, the service was attentive, courteous and welcoming, truly an evening to remember. I love this restaurant more than the first time I went, each time I discover new delights! I can't recommend La Grande Ourse enough.

Visited with friends who live locally, for lunch and enjoyed an exceptional meal, cooking of the highest standard, one of the best meals we have eaten anywhere in France, over many years. The food was stylish, of the best local ingredients, elegantly presented and served. Service was charming and efficient without being pushy. We sat in the garden. La Grande Ourse, is a restaurant offering amazing, delicious and appetizing food and welcoming staff. Dominec is warm and engaging and remembers her patrons. I visited a year ago and today she recognised me and made me feel very welcome. A new buffet menu offers a selection of salads and two hot dishes for €14 for 2 courses - very good value for money. Outdoor seating area under the parasols makes a hot day very bearable and charming. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous restaurant. We were fortunate to celebrate my sister's 50th with 20 friends & family. Age range 18months to adult. On arrival we were met with warmth & shown to the private area. Table had been dressed & certainly impressed everyone.We had salmon crevice or truffle pasta to start! Both so delicious.Main course choice, steak ( huge tasty & tender ), Iberian pork ( huge so tasty & very filling) , veggie burger & pasta for kids. We frequented this restaurant many years ago under a different proprietor and name, it was very good then and I'm pleased to say the current standard is excellent and run by a husband and wife team.Our visit was at evening time and as the weather was kind we sat out-side on the terrace. The choice of furniture, décor and the way it is laid out lends itself to a lovely atmosphere whether inside or out, crowded or quiet.The menu is very comprehensive covering all tastes in starters, main and deserts and the complimentary olive tapanade was superb as we waited for our meals.Meals were cooked and presented to a very high standard with the Chefs own personal touches adding to a myriad of differen...
