I return to this restaurant each time I am in Rome. The staff is welcoming and warm, the food is great and the prices reasonable. Something I always look forward to is their truffle pasta too. Highly recommend this little piece of a Roman family kitchen.

This family run restaurant is an an easy walk from the gallery. The grilled vegetable salad bar with sardines and mussels is a great way to start your meal. The family is friendly and service good, food moderately priced. the lamb is a little tough and bony, shoulder chops, the flavor is awesome. Lovely restaurant with really excellent food at fair prices. Some of the best Carbonara I've ever had--noodles were cooked to perfection. The grilled calamari was equally amazing. Only downside was the alfresco dining--tables are directly across from 3 large garbage dumpsters...and during Rome's steamy summers, that's just no fun. But otherwise, really an excellent dinner. Few tourists as well.... Definitely visit! Ver carta
