La Locanda Hamburg - Carta

Very big variety of choice:pasta,pizza,salads,soups,starters,fish and meat.. all was veryyyy tasty!

the noodles with truffle and bark fillet tips unfortunately tasteless. I don't want to order again.

They serve all types of pizza it is a very family friendly place, nice tables to sit outside enjoy the summer ! Ver carta

Very good italian restaurant, with good fish and very tasty pizza, highly recommended. It is very close the city downtown. Prices ok. Good choice of italian wine.

Been there a couple of times during my stay in Hamburg. Very good location, very nice service, even better prices, but average food. I'd say pizza was a bit more reliable than pasta. Still, this didn't discourage me, I will probably come back if in...area again, I liked the positive atmosphere...

I had a dinner in the restaurant during my business trip. They told they accept American Express but at the end it turned out that they don’t. I paid with my own card not the coorporate one however still false information was shared and an...unpleasent surprise at the end. Tourists be careful! Place is not recommended! Ver carta

We came Friday night, and it was very busy. Service was extremely fast though. We got three pizzas, three large beers and bruschetta for under Euro, which seems very good value! The pizzas were good, crispy base and nice toppings. The pasta that was...served to other tables looked like really generous servings. The atmosphere was lovely, candle lit and romantic. My friend often comes here for lunch, and said that the pizzas are two euros cheaper then, but a little smaller.

For our last night in Hamburg we decided to find a charming, low key Italian restaurant. La Locanda fit the bill. It was small and appealing, the waiters were friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. After all the hip restaurants and celebrity chef.. must try places that are really just the emperor's new clothes it was delightful to find a low key and thoroughly enjoyable meal (and experience) at La Locanda. If you want a great authentic Italian meal in Hamburg, without all the phoniness, this is you your place.

We were people, and they first put the tables in a funny place when there was place free in a quieter place, not booked, totally free, but unfortubnately the waiter did not understand us. Then we ordered gnocci with truffle, and they came...with lune al nero di seppia ripiene. Totally different pasta. They took it away, and then a different waiter came. Gnochhi not anymore offered, so they decided to change the pasta without asking. We did not want to keep the other people waiting for us, so we took it. If it were cheap, I would undersetand, but for those prices, there are better options in hamurg. Ver carta
