"I'm gonna stop being the first time and I'm gonna come back and eat here. Great appetizer. 1 single focaccia for 7 people is little. before improving a few asparagus and cheeks cut too much to the sins I found: little attention from the waiters/comi. that is bread, water never controlled (we had to always ask) and at least the cutlery we took from the covers around/near to us. I hope next time you give yourself the star I didn't give you."

"I’m not sure if it was because we’re English speaking, or because we announced shortly after arrival that all we were looking for was a quick pizza and ice cream, but by and large I felt like this restaurant treated us like an inconvenience. This place opens at 7.00 pm, and when we arrived at 7.05 pm, the staff were having their own meal. We were ignored for some time! We both ordered the “four cheese” pizzas, which were tasty, the base absolutely wafer thin, but the toppings excellent and plentiful. Nice that the drinks came served in a bucket of ice. Waiting times were painfully slow as locals seemed to be treated to a much higher level of service and friendliness. Amazed that this restaurant did not have ice cream on the menu, very disappointed. We ordered other desserts, one of pannacotta with strawberry sauce, the other a mixture of puff pastry in custard. Both disappointing. We had to beg for the bill, request it from several different servers and waited ages for it. Not an expensive restaurant, but don’t treat your customers like fools. G"

"I return to this restaurant after exactly 20 years, I was little more than a kid at the time. I therefore decide to return, now, with my wife. As written in many other reviews, the menu does not exist, as soon as we sit down they immediately bring us an appetizer... very antipasto and not much of a meal... 4 slices of ham and 4 of loin, bruschetta with a porcini mushroom sauce thrown in on the plate, beans with a very questionable flavor and 4 slices of courgette....I remain perplexed but I go on to say that we didn 't want the first courses but only the second courses, but the owner insists on the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms and brings us two samples. ....you couldn 't taste the mushroom but just a lot of wine and spices, the tonnarelli with porcini mushrooms are something else! The grill arrived which was practically all lamb, accompanied by a wild boar hunter that was too stringy and therefore inedible, salad and a roast potato, definitely NOT! Again without me asking for anything, some desserts arrive: small pieces, tart and donut....the latter crowded together, tart too old, only the small pieces were good. Bill of €70 without receipt, without details and above all without having decided anything! It would have been enough if they had told us that they use a FIXED MENU (because that 's what we 're talking about), what it includes, how much you pay and a tax detail... stop! Everything would have been perfect, but paying for not knowing and not deciding anything is NOT! Conclusion: Sacrofano has many restaurants and even quality ones, the Grottino is definitely not one of them, move on!"

"Abbiamo preso 2 antipasti di mare composto da 5 terrine con moscardini in salsa, due gamberi scottati con pomodori e limone, crudo di orata, 4 alici, e 4 cozze gratinate. Come secondo due porzioni di tonno scottato, due dolci, 2 caffè, 2 amari, una bottiglia di vino (16 euro) e acqua. Tutto buono, servizio all'altezza, abbiamo pagato 101 euro usufruendo dello sconto del 20% offerto su the fork, senza sconto avremmo pagato 16 euro in più."

"Finalmente ho avuto il piacere di provare questo locale,era da tempo che mi ero ripromesso di provarlo. E devo dire che mi ha fatto un'importante impressione. Non appena si varca la soglia,si viene accolti da un un senso di ordine e pulizia. Arredamento interni alla moda e interessanti. Servizio efficiente e gentile, offerta vini e non solo buona, Il menù alla carta ricco, intelligente e curato. Ma la sorpresa vera e vincente è l'aver scoperto che il proprietario Pasquale è a sua volta lo Chef,cosa che sconoscevo sotto questo punto di vista,mentre ero già al corrente della sua simpatia, professionalità e cultura sul mondo del food and beverage. Abbiamo mangiato degli ottimi carciofi in tegame,una buona selezione di salumi e delle fettuccine alla gricia di carciofi con guanciale croccante,mentre mio figlio ha scelto un ottima carbonara con spaghettone rummo,di ottima preparazione. Vino della casa più acqua caffè e focaccia ad un prezzo più che onesto. 40 € È stata una piacevole scoperta, il locale merita davvero . Complimenti"
