very good food, varied, esorto and rich, presented with goto and care worthy of gourmet restaurants. intimate and real welcome, warm and pleasant as the whole inn of the rest transmits. to return more and more times!

found by chance and by nose (the scent of ragù felt 50 mt away). we expected the classic trattoria of the country: some dishes maybe genuine. we found a restaurant whose menu does not show up in the most refined restaurants in Italy. genuine flavors in a variety and fantasy of exceptional dishes.

One of my favorite restaurants in Tuscany. Let you drive from Paola (the owner) through the fabulous and tasty dishes she will love to describe you. Enjoy the pasta with canapa flour and vegetables, remain surprised to discover how the stracotto can marry red fruits and honey, dream how a easy lemon foam dessert enlightens each spoonful of fresh fruits… Prices very convenient if compared to the quality of the offer. A dinner on the first floor terrace, during a beautiful evening of July, is the must! Paola, the owner of La Locanda di Torquato has realized her dream, a beautiful, charming, simple, elegant and high quality restaurant. The environment is elegant and friendly at the same time. The food, tuscan, 'maremmano ' with an original taste!! I suggest 'tagliata ' served with amazing sauces, the best a concentrated of Morellino, the typical wine of Scansano area, where is Montorgiali. Had dinner here. Service is friendly and welcoming. At the arrival Ms Paola welcomes guests with a pappa al pomodoro revised, very tasty. We drove 40km to have dinner here. The whole experience from start to finish was well worth the drive. This restaurant serves local food with lovely vibrant flavours. I recommend sharing dishes to taste everything! What really amazed me was how well everything, the wines, pastas, vegetables and meats, paired so well even though we had the mixed tasting menu with bit of everything and just the house wines. arrived at the small village, on the right you will find a convenient parking space to leave your car. the room is welcoming, but you will have to arm yourself with patience (if you want to eat here on the weekend remember to book with reasonable advance and to give you some time). Is located in a very small village, is strongly advised to reserve, especially the terrace tables (with beautiful landscape of the hills, nice to dinner during sunset , small restaurant with around 15 tables (it was fully booked when we went there .
