"I am sorry to give only stars but it was only for the kitchen I would have given stars but the service and the wait were not of my goto. they tell us that it was mandatory to order a minimum of two courses per person (beside the local no menus linked to the day of eve and no indication of the obligation of consumption, all told by the gentleman who made us sit wondering if we were warned by someone before?! You're the one who sat there. All right, let's order the first raw and marinated fish dishes to the soup after another minute. I believe that for cold dishes and, like the soup that should already be ready, it is a little too minute. finished the appetizer the second course arrives quite quickly, I think there was an initial block in the kitchen. After an hour another boy came to the room to give a hand and to give the most necessary attention (the hand wipes or to ask that everything should go well). I recommend that we come for food that really great! for the rest we hope it was only a matter of tiredness for the end of the year!"

This is some of the best food we've had in Puglia. It may be a bit on the pricier side, but so so worth it. I ordered the eggplant-stuffed ravioli and tiramisu, and both were heavenly.

During our recent holiday in Polignano a Mare we visited La Locanda Porta Picc twice. On both occasions we sat at an outside table. We could not fault the food or the service in this restaurant. Highly recommend Ver carta

excellent restaurant in the historic center, refined and at the same time informal. fish specialties but also excellent ears at the tops. competitive prices. super respected covid standards. I got disinfected with my credit card after paying!

La Locanda Porta Picc is a small street side restaurant on a side street in Polignana. We liked the look of it and booked a table. We were not disappointed. Of the four of us one cannot have any vinegar or alcohol, two are allergic to all shellfish and do not eat any meat and the fourth one is actually normal! The way the restaurant and staff dealt with this was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was absolutely superb. It was a pleasure sitting alongside the pedestrian street watching the people go past whilst eating a truly excellent meal. Definitely book it and go, I am sure you will not be disappointed.
