"La Marmite was our first meal in Paris after an exhausting day of travel. The staff were so kind and accommodating, despite a slight language barrier. We felt like the only tourists in this homey, local location. The prices were typical city prices, but the portions were huge. Highly recommend the steak with green beans and the salmon with tagliatelle!"

Ate with family here after Sacre Coeur. Very efficient staff, good onion soup, foie gras, escargot and local beers. Nice interiors too!

I had lunch here and ordered the duck with potatoes and green beans. The duck was some of the best duck I have had in Europe and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. The service and prices were very good too. I highly recommend this place.

We had lunch and an evening meal here and both times had the hamburger with garlic potatoes. Excellent food, well prepared and presented and served by friendly staff. I always judge a restaurant by its toilets and these were very nice and clean! Definitely worth a visit.

Visited marmite with a group of friends. The service was very good almost impeccable as our waiter helped us with our food and even with our endless questions about places to go in paris! the food was really good too! the magret de canard is definitely a must and the drinks were also good.
