"waiter was very pushy to have us eat there. fine. he recommended the roasted chicken. super dry, over cooked, not good. my carbonara though was really good. waiter charged us for a tip figuring we were american and didn't know what we were doing. unfortunately we didn't stop him since he was slick about it and once we realized it we didn't want to cause a scene. but basically in france you do not need to tip. be extremely wary of this restaurant and its waiters."

Went for supper with two friends, having chèvre chaud and beef burgundy. Well cooked and well presented. Nothing fancy but good anyway. The service was well above average and English was not a problem.

Went to Paris for quick weekend. We walked over for dinner after checking into our hotel which was next door! Food was quick and very good. Came back later and went to the bar and sat and talked with the bartender for awhile. Very Friendly people .. A good plce for lunch, dinner or late night drinks.
