We went there twice, once last year on the way to the holiday, we had very little appreciated this address, we went there on a Monday (big mistake!), it was canteen atmosphere, service to the stone spear (we throw your plate), noisy (normal it is the market but good it reasones too much in the room), a head of calf but vegetables that are looking so much polished We spend this year with friends to Luhans to eat a bite, they decide to invite us to the yoke mother, we explain our experience of the previous year and there they tell us "but Monday must avoid it has nothing to do with the other days" either! You try after all you don't have to stay on a bad impression, so yes it's quieter indeed, but there you realize other things that you didn't notice during our first passage, the restaurant seems to have been stuck in time, you would believe in the 50s/60s, the kitchen is in no burgundy (I'm burgundy so you know a little what you're talking about is enough The products are frozen, there's a lot of fresh, you mix a little everything to make the taste pass and the customer sees it only fire, except that it doesn't mislead the experienced palates. In short, once more disappointed, the kitchen is a copyful but classical archive, with no flavor that stands out, one asks more to a restaurant that is well placed and that makes a good calf head. I will add that we would also have to review the service we were few and it is looong but loooong, 1h to have the apero and the combined entrance, then after finishing our plates 40 minutes for the dish! disorganised service, longt, there are many things to review then the prices for quality I don't agree, it tabs rate level especially for a small town like louhans you shouldn't exaggerate. So let's sum up, just go for the regulars of the calf's head for the rest, it'll only appeal to the lovers of copyy and impersonal canteens. back to the past on all points of view for this place, there are better addresses in the city than this."

by a Sunday after noon sunny of April visiting a stone of bresse , we stop at the Mother's home eating our calf because it is a restaurant or we have never been disappointed. Eggs in mimolette were very good, super high quality meal

Not disappointed, perfect calf's head but be careful with the billing, surplus of 3€ for various menus without knowing what it is, and market menu for 24€ whereas it was a starter main course formula for 20€... But efficient service very good address...

the market of louhans is essential every Monday, so we made this pilgrimage during our fishing trip. and it was a very nice and gastronomic moment. the restaurant is simple but the heat of any staff is to be noted. for bresse chicken!!! magical and inimitable. I strongly recommend this address to everyone.

Tellement déçu ! La page internet, le menu et la mention gastronomique nous ont attiré. En fait de gastronomique, il n’y a que la mention sur la vitrine , et mentionner un restaurant haut de gamme est se moquer de ses clients. Ce jour nous avons roulé 160 km pour venir y manger les fameux oeufs meurette gastro . En voyant le restaurant bondé, nous nous sommes réjouis. Mais déception, oh déception. Pas bons ! Vraiment pas bon. La sauce épaissie à la farine, les oeufs insuffisamment cuits, si bien que mélangés à la sauce… beurk ! Par contre la pièce de viande est bonne, la sauce à l’époisse…. commune, et les pdt vapeur insuffisamment cuites! Mais vraiment rien de haut de gamme. Le dessert est...

Meals taken Saturday evening, weekend of August 15, accepted without reservation and without fuss. A beautiful menu, with 3 menus between 24 and 42 euros, we took the one for 24 and the one for 33 in order to share different dishes, excellent specialties from the region: chicken liver cake, eggs in meurette, breasts with cream and with garlic, super quenelle of pike with crayfish sauce, and delicious desserts, special mention for the floating island with pralines, a killer! All washed down with a Mâcon served in a 46 cl Lyonnais pot, and all this at a very reasonable price: a bill of 66 euros for 2 people, a very hearty meal with cheese AND dessert from the menu at 33 euros, there is nothing...
