"Nicely located in the pedestrian area of Saints, close to the Charente, the restaurant offers, at the choice, a large room or a terrace. the reception is warm as the decor of the room. the choice available on the map is impressive, I haven't made it yet. but one thing is certain: dispaysement assured for these quality dishes. I'm always backing the punjab, and this is for a very modest price (from 20 to 30 euros per person on average)."

"choosing richard catererer for his wedding is the right choice. from our first encounter with isabelle, contact has passed immediately. One of her employees dropped a drink and the first thing she was interested in was whether she had hurt herself. We immediately felt that we had common values. our marriage was postponed because of the covid and she continued to accompany us. tell you of the moment of the installation that took place in good mood and exchange and with family. "we have eaten here often, as eating is simply nice, prices reasonable and we can, for both good health for the economy, then on a non-alcoholic day despite in the land of world famous wineries. I'm going in the rules for mc4. that is the top brainashi [a large bowl of salmon and avocado over generous rice, with wasabi and picky ingwer on the side;] that 16.80 euro dish comes with appetizers of a separate small salad and a separate dish of miso suppe included. hm goes for the cheaper seafood salad and then adds extra for the starter of the suppe and bowl rice. everything in the rule up to thirty euro for two, in a simple ground decor in a backstreet, which is from the cours national near the river. see them, of course, near the arc de triomphe and the dames abbey; but never miss St-Eustephe with its beautiful n façade and historic capital."

"Having just arrived in Saintes at lunchtime, we emerged from the tourist information office , map in hand , to explore this lovely town. Right in front of us we saw a barge on the Charante advertising a lunchtime menu du jour for 18 Euros....It looked a bit posh for such a reasonable price but we ventured forth. The restaurant itself is decorated with classy simplicity and you can choose to sit inside or outside. The advertisement was not a lie, we got three superb courses for 18 Euros each. In fact, my starter was one of this years gastronomic highlights of carpaccio of beef on a quinoa salad. Beautiful to look at, clean eating and very tasty. My partner had a simple but equally tasty mozzarella and green tomato salad. We both decided on Mullet for the main, delightfully presented. And for dessert I chose cheese which came with a dot of powerful blueberry compote. The staff were efficient and friendly, and had enough English along with our basic French to make the visit easy. Highly recommended."

"This establishment is a restaurant cum wine bar located somewhere in the back cobbled streets of Saintes. Limited lunch time menu consisting of a 3 course meal. The meal is very tasty and filling. Although the menu is set there is some room for manoeuvre,...we didn’t fancy the gizzards as a starter and the chef was happy to Russell up something different. Staff are very friendly and polite, they obviously have a good knowledge of wines and are happy to recommend a good accompaniment to your meal. All in all a pleasant experience in French dining and we will return here again."
