Gluten free pasta was nice addition and IT was also nicely prepared. Pizza was mediocre so thats why 3stars. Service was excellent and tiramisu, magnifico! Try this place, its worth of it.

Lured in by the charming host who lived up to every expectation and then some. He spoke every language in our party and suggested a starter we will never forget. The food was really delicious, the seaside location blissful and the rosé wine a revelation. I'd go back there tomorrow and do it all again.

Restaurant is situated next to many others at the marina but definitely great service sets it apart. We felt really taken care of from the beginning we walked in and our evening was made special. We both had pasta and I have to say it was delicious! Also the bread so so good! Definitely would come back for more! Ver carta

We visited this restaurant after reading a positive review in the Lonely Planet. We were cajoled into accepting a bottle of “not expensive” white wine after not being given a wine menu when we asked. This was then 27 euro on the bill. We never wanted a bottle of wine; only a glass and were looking forward to choosing our own. That said, the carbonara pasta dish was delicious. The port has some atmosphere, if you are hoping for a bit of music and the hustle and bustle of other diners. Would not recommend or return.

Naively we were drawn in by the owner stood by the entrance, who immediately seemed uninterested as soon as we’d sat down. The fish platter mostly consisted of pickled fish, when we could have reached into the sea and picked out fresh ourselves. We shared the mixed grill for main which was just awful! The steak, chicken and what I think was pork were all massively over cooked and tough as leather, the sausage was raw and another unrecognisable bit of meat was completely tasteless. We complained and after denying there was anything wrong with the meat he offered us a steak instead which arrived and was much better, but it was just a bit of steak cut up on a bed of rocket with some grated chee...

We were walking downtown the Porto location in Ischia Island, this is what happens : every restaurant is located one after another, so all the owners are outside and ask you to stop and have dinner there or lunch and each one of them have their own way of doing it. Amedeo has his way and it’s a good one! First of all he talks of his special of the day and then right the way he tells you that if you don’t like it it’s on him and the first bottle of wine it’s free this is what happen to us: of course he is a guy that looks you in the eyes and figures you out because he is one of those guys that speaks 5 languages without going to school “ the hard way “on the streets... his chef is awesome we...
