Lovely lunch on this boat. Two of us had hamburgers, 1/2 was beef and 1/2 as chicken. Funny to have one here, but was delicious. Great wine. Great place in Meaux to have lunch. Ver carta

Visiting Meaux whilst staying on a barge decided to try this place for lunch, exceptionally helpful staff, and a wonderful lunch, would definitely use again and recommend to anyone else.

Normally, restaurants on boats moored on river banks don't bode well, in my experience. La Peniche is a happy exception. Delicious, unpretentious food, extremely well prepared, served by a friendly, welcoming staff. Very enjoyable.
