"Prenotazione effettuata tramite TheFork dopo ricerca effettuata tramite tripavisor. Locale decentrato rispetto alla ormai troppa affolata 'Sala ' ma di alto livello! Appena entrati veniamo accolti dal titolare che ci accompagna in una delle salette, perché il locale è diviso in stanze dove ci sono fino a 3 tavoli cadauna.. Tutto ciò rende accogliente e calda l 'atmosfera. Mise en place elegante curata e pulita. Menù vasto comprendente sia carne che pesce. Abbiamo preso 2 tartare di manzo battuta al coltello con maionese al rafano, un flan di gamberi su guazzetto di seppia (eccellellente sotto ogni punto di vista) tagliatelle cacio e pepe, polpo alla griglia con polenta fritta (polpo tenerissimo e di gran gusto) gnudi e una tagliata al pepe verde con patate arrosto (carne molto saporita ma ahimè piuttosto coriacea) per finire 4 dolci di cui un semifreddo alle mandorle un gelato al tiramisù affogato al caffè (caffè versato caldo al momento dalla cameriera) e due torte alle carote e nocciole con panna montata. Servizio ottimo, cameriera preparata e gentile. In quattro abbiamo speso 180 euro.. Sicuramente una spesa importante per una cena senza consumazione di vino, tuttavia mi sono sentita come se avessi mangiato in un ristorante stellato dove la cura della materia prima e dell 'impiattamento è stata eccellente. Consigliato sia per cene formali che informali."

"Based on the reviews, we stopped off for dinner, on our way from Florence to Montecatini Terme. I had bucatini Amatriciana for starters. It was fine, but I have often had much better. My companion had crostini. Basic and bland. Pizza for mains. My companion's white pizza with mushrooms was very nice. I made a bad choice, Contadina. Nice dining room, but very warm even though we were close to the large open window. Service was perfunctory."
