"We went to celebrate my son's 21st and were not disappointed. Everyone in the party took the 44€ menu.I had Gambas in a very light batter , followed by Lamb, which was absolutely delicious, then a chocolate orange dessert. In between courses there was an asparagus mousse with shrimps and a banana crumble.The wine list was very extensive and maybe a little bit pricey. There were not a lot of half bottle to choose from.The service was very efficient , calm and friendly.We had visited this place under previous management and the decor reminded us of a toilet !! but thankfully the decor is now much more appealing.We have tried a few of the restaurants in Beauvais and the family consensus is that this is the best."

"I visited Chez Dan for a business lunch with some colleagues during a recent visit to Beauvais. Upon arrival, we were greated by friendly staff who showed us the table. The menu had an excellent choice of starters and mains. When the food arrived, it was very well presented and tasted great. In the United Kingdom, restaurants are usually poor in bringing out all the guests plates out together therefore resulting in food going cold! Chez Dan on the otherhand timed the arrival on our mains perfectly even though the restaurant was very busy. The desert was also excellent in both taste and presentation.Overall, highly recommend and I would definatley visit again!"

"Non ci ha entusiasmato granchè..le costicine erano bruciate e il burgher buffalo era talmente strapieno di salse da non sentire neanche il gusto della carne.. nauseante ...Caffè da evitare assolutamente ...ci abbiam provato a chiedere espresso e ristretto ...ma, come prevedibile, "tazzina di acqua calda scura"..Birra ok .."

"Nous étions de passage et avions faim. Comme il faisait beau, nous nous sommes installés en terrasse. Ce qui nous a valu les foudres du personnel prétendant que nous devions passer par l'acceuil avant de nous installer. Excusez-moi madame, je suis belge, et je ne connais pas vos coutumes. Chez nous, le client s'installe et le personnel gère. C'est son métier après tout. La commande prise, on nous apporte le vin... Puis une longue attente... très longue... Au bout de facilement 45 minutes, comme nous n'étions toujours pas servis, et que nous n'avions plus ni de vin ni de pain, nous avons demandé où en étaient nos plats, ce qui a eu le don d'exaspérer la serveuse qui nous a répondu d'un haussement d'épaules et d'un lancé d'yeux vers le ciel... Un bon quart d'heure après ce haussement d'épaules, on nous redemande la commande parce que le bon a disparu... Nous avons pu manger et sommes ressortis de là 2h30 après y être rentré, ce qui est un comble pour un restaurant dit "de service rapide"... Aucun geste commercial, aucune ristourne, même pas un café offert pour l'attente... Bref, tout sauf professionnel. Plus jamais!"
