"A Thonon dans la famille, nous avons eu la chance de déjeuner à la cocotte. Ce restaurant offre des produits de qualité, dans les bonnes proportionnée même dans le menu du jour. Pour finir ke repas, le café gourmand avec un moelleux au chocolat tiède était un délice."

"This restaurant is situated over looking the lake and there is an outside terrace area as well as indoor dining. We visited on a Saturday evening and despite being busy the staff were attentive and wore a warm smile. We ordered from the fixed menu and the food arrived quickly and was presented beautifully. The desert was fabulous... definitely leave space!"

"The food was less than OK, honestly it doesn't worth the high price they charge for each plate... Also, we waited for more than 1 hour and a half to get our food!!!!! The staff was less than polite... Impossible to park your car nearby... You can find better food and service for less money elsewhere..."

"The Nems or spring rolls were nicely presented but the fat they were fried in tasted old. What I didn't like about this Asian restaurant is they put the dish you ordered all on your plate. I prefer Asian style with the dishes put in separate bowls where everyone at the table can help themselves to the different dishes. That's part of the fun of eating out in an Asian restaurant. With a big pile of pale chicken pieces in a pale sauce on the plate in front of me it just cut my appetite dead. Their china is very modern more suitable for a nouvelle cuisine style restaurant and it didn't go with the restaurant's décor and style (another French touch?). Also the serviettes are horrible, some kind of silky velvety type of material not practical for sticky fingers. Also, the towels to clean your hands after the meal were wet and icy cold contrary to the usual Asian practice. Yes, I know I may appear fussy but this restaurant is classed by Trip Adviser No. 2 out of 147 restaurants in Thonon les Bains so I expected something special. Overall, though, the food is not bad but boring (no really defined Asian flavours - a bit bland) but the décor is magical. The staff are also charming and friendly."

"A group of 8 of us went for dinner and had a great experience - the staff was very friendly and fun (the waiter saw us taking photos outside while we waited for our table and came out to assist); the atmosphere is quaint and romantic (but not overly so); there was a good selection of wine, which was very reasonably priced as a bonus; the appetizers were all great and the desserts were worth it. I highly recommend the onion soup and the green been salad - this salad was amazing if you like green beans, and the onion soup was the best we had this trip. The entrees is the one area that I didn't think was stellar - I had the beef bourguignon, which was over-cooked. The phesant was good. Portions are on the large side for everything. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place and return myself!"
