"Owner Anthony, you operate the absolute BEST RESTAURANT IN ANNECY!!!!! My husband and I came to eat at La Rôtisserie du Tiou twice during our week in Annecy on 4th and 7th October and we loved the experience on both occasions. The first time we had booked and the second time we didn't and on both occasions we were welcomed by Anthony as though we were friends! The small but perfect menu offers a wonderful range of dishes of which we enjoyed immensely. Everything was freshly cooked and delicious. The service was efficient and very friendly. Anthony was really kind to me as I was doing my best to speak French which I continue to learn! We will return to Annecy one day and La Rôtisserie du Tiou will be the first place we visit! À bientôt!"

welcoming and friendly staff, excellent melted fast service but meat a little poor quality I recommend this address in one of the little streets of Annecy

A good surprise, in a very touristy place, a good welcome and good cuisine. A good moment... Small downside, the bottle of Savoie wine may be a little expensive but of good quality

the staff is welcoming, but the value/price ratio is not really respected, a little expensive view of the amount served in the plates unlike the restaurants nearby, a shame that the salad is served without offering seasoning which makes it fade. Ver carta

Lots of native French here which is always good my menu was in French too (website has English). Classics local faire very satisfying experience. I had the agneau/lamb next table had tartiflette which they said was good. Good authentic experience but get there early!

Une super soirée au top. Nous avons été bien accueilli avec le sourire. Il faisait meilleur dedans. La carte n 'est pas très longue mais il y a de quoi satisfaire tout le monde. (Et c 'est plutôt rassurant) La jeune femme est très agréable et mes petits mangeurs l 'ont beaucoup apprécié. Elle était aux petits soins. Les plats sont bons et copieux.

"We had a weird feeling about this restaurant when we were given 2 menu books WITHOUT any price at first. Turned out that their gastronomic pricing didn't match their brasserie standard at all. My friend asked a couple of questions about some dishes, the waiter...was very puzzled and passive, said a couple of times that he didn't know. After that, we were served some kind of MUSHY OLD bread before the meal. If this was a sign of welcoming from the owner, then he failed right there. In our main courses, apart from the meat and fish ingredients, each of us got half of a small potato, 1 small stick of leek, 1 lonely cauliflower, some smashed petit pois with the size of a small coffee capsule, and 1 line of smashed carrot. Looks like the quantity one would place on a plate of a gastronomic restaurant with 8 courses, except that this is NOT a gastronomic restaurant, from the plastic menu, the furniture, the old bread, the cutleries, the different menu pricing and the service which failed to describe the dishes. The worst part, was when the waiter came and asked us if everything went well, I gave him the feedback that the food was good but the veggie was way too little. He first proposed us to eat more dessert, then when I said no, he got so upset and defensive that he even pointed at the kitchen telling me that I should go to see the chef and discuss with him myself. Why bother asking your client how their meal was if you can't receive a candid feedback? Being a frequent traveller, coming from the hospitality industry, I have to say this place is to AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Unless you have too much money and eating next to a canval is way more important than being treated in a disrespectful manner, and leaving the restaurant with a happy stomach."
