"was here with my wife in May 2013. we had the German food fed after a week with sausages and sour wort and thought this would be a nice change. the interior is quite small and somewhat narrow, but not uncomfortable when used to restaurants in large cities. there are also some tables outside. could have been a coincidence, but our waitress didn't speak much English and therefore our order a little. eating was generally delicious, almost everything was soaked in oil. we had a bottle of Spanish wine, which was a nice gesture. I would definitely recommend la tapa for those who are in town for a long time and are looking for something else, but if they are only short in town and can wait for them? Favorite Tapas bar home, you're probably better off."

it was a great stopover for a slight happen in the evening with a good selection of beer and intimate seating. directly in the old town.

I loved the ambiente and the hired were incredibly helpful. the tapas were average. a good place for the view and sitting outside in a great location.

this was a fantastic little tapas bar. here are prepared tapas on authentic wise and the small tables and the bar provide a very cozy, relaxed environment. ideal for meeting with friends or for a date.

we had a wonderful selection of tapas from fish dishes over meat dishes and beautiful patatas bravas. we had paella for 2 people, although we had learned 7 of our friends during the order in the previous week. was really a good value for money. Ver carta

the food was right out of the frozen chest. calamari was rubber-like, meatballs very processed and chorizo was burned. the alioli were directly from the tub of a catererer. they refused to serve us water. beautiful location, but avoid them when they expect good eating.

we have eaten here the afternoon too - mistakes to believe that they serve many tapas - instead it took almost an hour and they brought the cold and warm tapas together! in any case rather a weinbar. should have let that eat out. (although the tortilla and the chorizo were in order).

sat outside and had a great experience that watched people in one of the main pedestrian streets in Alt-Heidelberg. it took a bit until someone offered a service. the menu offered good tapas options (bark, vegetables, chicken, pork etc). everything tasted good, but could have had a little more spicy about the Spanish tapas theme. the dishes have tapa size, so are small and intended to be shared with their friends. we had oktopus, chicken wings, meatballs and shrimps. plus, a decent choice of wein and other drinks. all dishes were delicious and came at the same time. the place was recommended. the place is unavoidable and has a good ambiente for a fun time. the waiter was helpful and sympathetic. we reserved what was helpful. we will come back when tapas is the right choice.

I am a Spanish woman and after having lived several months in heidelberg, we decided to go there and taste Spanish food. the place is very nice to drink a beer or a coffee. every single tapa we had, however, was totally terrible. extremely bitter alibi, frozen calamari badly fried, some pre-cooked meatballs with cold sauce. we could also see some tortilla on another table and it was not attractive at all. Finally, the price is perhaps twice as high as you? could expect to pay for tapas this size. so my advice is: go when they are looking for a nice place to drink a beer and to entertain, but do not expect a good Spanish food there.
