Walked in to find the wood-fired grill ablaze, the waitress remembered my face (even though I'm 7 years older! and the steak and roasted potatoes still as yummy and satisfying as I last remembered. It isn't fancy (that's Il Salotto upstairs but it is exactly what typical cooking of the Val di Chiana should taste like. Absolutely recommended !!!"

eating was very good, but the service needs improvement. we had to ask for a weeping list before we gave up our orders, and our waitress brought karaffe wein, but we had to ask for wine glasses.
