"Always come to the old town café. There is a wide selection of homemade cakes and cakes. There is also a theme evening every Thursday with different food from different countries, for example burgers, Turkish specialties, noodles etc. You can also have excellent breakfast there. The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff and the boss are very friendly and the prices are more than fair. Special requests are also received. I always feel welcome there. There are also changing exhibitions of photos and images of regional artists."

"Leider muss man hier einen Stern vergeben, um eine Rezession verfassen zu können. Haben gestern dort telefonisch bestellt. Mitarbeiter fragte uns nach den Nummern der Speisen. Hatten 2x Pommes und einmal nur Dürüm (Brot) mit Soße. Wir haben einen stolzen Preis von 19€ bezahlt zumal wir dreimal erwähnt hatten, dass wir gerne Ketchup und Mayo auf den Pommes hätten. Für den Preis zu erwarten. Leider hatten wir nichts davon bekommen! Sehr enttäuschend!! Mir tat mein Geld nie so leid wie gestern, es so falsch investiert zu haben!!"

"A lunch with two people for 37,70 and a dinner for 19,80 euros in advance: If you get a more than 35 years youth dream next to a very good meal, this will be a great moment for ever! And so it was today! A concert visit in the distance was announced and we thought it would be nice to combine everything with a good meal and some sights. So we have reserved a table for lunch at the Restaurant Bayrischer Hof, which seems generally appropriate. Surprisingly, the search for parking was easy. On the market square directly at the hotel/restaurant there are between one to two dozen parking spaces that were not even a third on Saturday noon. This can look quite different in other times. We arrived in time for an order from the normal menu. A small card with a handful of dishes is valid from 14 am to 5 pm. From the day card we chose both pumpkin ginger soup with honey croutons. The main course came from the general map and again we ordered both pork fillet tips with Cognac mushroom cream sauce, but changed the addition of egg spikes in Pommes. There was a salad. Shall we go on? Do you always order the same dishes? This had already been shown in our recent reviews. Of course. After the drinks were taken, it took a little to reach the pumpkin soup. And that was a pleasure! According to my wife, the best pumpkin soup so far. The ideal balance between pumpkin and ginger. Right sharp, but well done! Well done. There was a small refreshment of my wife between the starter and the main food, and from there you have to rely on my impressions of the food in the Bavarian court, because my wife Befand went to the main course in the stage of the seventh sky and did not quite notice the food. Guilty is the fulfillment of the youth dream! While I was sitting alone on the table, several guests suddenly entered the restaurant and I didn't like to trust my eyes. Manfred Mann and his Earth Band checked at the hotel. While the band disappeared on the rooms, Manfred sat down on a table, his notebook worked and started working with my back. To make it short, everything went down. My wife returned and was close to the unexpected guest of powerlessness. After a brief presentation we returned to our table and waited for our main course without a speech. Even before this came Manfred appeared on our table, whether we were now because before he was busy making a photo with him and said it. As I said, I have to report alone. First came the supplementary salad. Very appealing and no small part! Made with sweet marinade. A few seconds later, the fillet tips came to our table. With delicious sauce and fresh mushrooms. While my wife remained in a trance-like state, I could fully enjoy the food and even take away from her fries. There was nothing left on the plates. Recommended! Meanwhile Manfred had disappeared in his room, but the rest of the band appeared again and made it comfortable in front of the hotel restaurant in the beer garden. It was perfect beer garden weather, and that on the 18. October! At the end of the song was another photo with the incredibly accessible and friendly band! What a start of our trip to Munich! In order to increase the concert visit, we had made a small bite just before the event in the restaurant. Before that we made a tour through the place with special ambience and then appeared on the reserved table for the Eve or strengthening meal. All the other tables in the restaurant were now reserved, but still empty. What changed quickly! We were lucky because we ordered the first and got our Toasts Williams relatively fast. And also the toasts convince by dressing, taste, extensive supplement salad and price. Here we say: Happy again! When the restaurant was left, all nearby parking spaces were occupied and the restaurant and beer garden were filled up despite the earlier time = later afternoon. Thanks for the beautiful day of the Bavarian court and the opportunity that brought us this experience.
