"Imagine a three and a half hour vegetarian degustation whilst dining in the Lyon countryside at a Michelin star restaurant, in a chateau. Magical? Fantastical? Mythical? Reality. The food was delicious, the service was sophisticated, and I felt I brought the general tone of the place down by an order of magnitude just by being there. It remains the best food and fine dining experience I have ever had. It's all downhill from here I'm afraid. Of note, our omnivorous dining companions found the meat based degustation to be similarly mind blowing. Special mention to our head waiter weronika. She led an army of wait staff that presented course after course in an unrelenting battle against our waistlines and our better judgement. They won."

"Another great meal at Accords Gourmands, which has become our favourite restaurant when we are in Lyons. The menu changes regularly, to adapt to the seasons and, I guess, the chef's favourite recipes of the moment. Every dish is innovative and executed well. The wines are good. In Paris or another part of Lyon you'd pay through the nose for this. And parking would be a nightmare (which it isn't here). The chef and maître d' team works well and one feels welcome (back)."

"The staff was welcoming and kind, and the service did not lack anything. The whole menu was interesting and delicious, but the tuna and risotto plat had a strong cheese taste, overpowering the other components of the dish. The dessert was good but nothing spectular. This is all based on my personal taste though. The atmosphere was casual, hip and warm. Thanks for the food experience and a happy new year!"

"We hadn't come back to eat for a long time but the surprise is still in the plate :presentation, mix of flavors.... Effective service. Small wine Dard and Ribo at the top It's really perfect. See you soon. But what a disappointment during our visit in November. Medium kitchen and above all high service. We had taken a menu in 5 services and wine agreements. Very fast service, not time to finish our glass of wine. And when we made a note on a wine we felt a great cold. So average cuisine this time, wines with disappointing agreement and zero service. I don't understand why my second opinion that I posted, negative this one, doesn't appear. So I rectify the first one."

"We came to dinner with my friend, it was a first and we are delighted with the service and availability of staff. The dishes were delicious (I recommend the lacquered duck magret and fries), the restaurant is modern, we enjoyed this beautiful place. Thank you for your welcome we will return very soon!"
